Privacy is a hot topic in the crypto world right now, and I’ve been thinking a lot about it. To tell you the truth that came up into my mind in the context of Subscriptions feature which was launched on the InLeo platform running on the Hive blockchain. While now the subscribed content is encrypted and decrypted to the subscribers, I am sure that a solution where COTI would come up with be next level. But is a long way until COTI would stop and take a closer look on the Hive blockchain. But who knows, maybe at some point will happen. But until than... fast and efficient privacy solutions are pushing Web3 forward, and it’s exciting to see companies like COTI and Carbon Browser partnering up to make it happen.
The Privacy problem
Traditional browsers have a bad habit of collecting and storing our personal data, making it vulnerable to both big corporations and hackers. That’s why I’m all for finding a better way to protect my online privacy, especially in the Web3 space. COTI’s dedication to privacy aligns with my own concerns about keeping data secure, both onchain and online.
Carbon Browser: Fast, Safe, and Private
Even if I didn't hear about it before, let me tell you why I got excited about Carbon Browser. It’s built on Chromium (like Google Chrome), but it’s way faster and more privacy-focused. With built-in ad blockers, VPN features, and a native crypto wallet, it’s designed for speed without sacrificing security. Plus, Carbon gives users the chance to earn rewards in their native $CSIX token, which is a pretty cool feature. And guess what browser I will use going further??...
COTI Privacy: A game changer
What’s got me really pumped is the integration of COTI’s privacy layer into Carbon’s wallet. COTI has built one of the fastest privacy solutions in Web3, using a breakthrough technology called Garbled Circuits. This allows for secure, private transactions without the heavy costs usually seen with other privacy tech like ZKPs or FHE. It’s fast, scalable, and now available to Carbon’s one million users.
In my view the partnership between COTI and Carbon Browser is a step in the right direction for web3. It’s a mission taken by Carbon about its users' on-chain security, and I’m excited to see where this goes as more people adopt the COTI privacy-first technology. With such partnerships, integrations and developments, I believe that COTI is a true gem than will shine in the next bull run.
