@runicar wrote today Hive's SEO is garbage and talked about the bad placement of Hive on Google search. Just few minutes after i seen that post i seen a tweet from @inertia. So decided to test how bad Hive SEO is, or maybe google is not that happy with promoting decentralized media?
@runicar did some searches:
Hive is ranked at the bottom of the first page of Google search engine result page (SERP) when searching for "Hive".
Even worse, when searching "Hive blockchain", Hive.io shows up at the 3rd page which only an estimated 10% of people visit.
"Hive crypto" is our only glimmer of hope but not even with this specific keyword can Hive manage to rank 1st.
Let's see how will hive be ranked on some other search engines.

- hive blockchain - Ask goes with a weird rout and the first page is all explaining blockchain, no hive word in any way

So is Google not happy to promote decentralized media? Is it manipulating search results? No idea, but looks like Hive is doing much better in almost all other search engines.
