How to get your Facebook account verified with less than 10 followers and not having to pay for it. Have you been wanting to get your Facebook account verified but scared or know nothing about the requirements that can get you that blue tick? Getting a blue tick on Facebook (verification button) is not as hard as you may think as there are two major ways you can actually get your Facebook account verified even if your followers are just as few as you have them.
Before I briefly go into how Facebook actually verified your account and do a few things you need to have I would love to make references to something that happened recently on my contact list. For the few people that know me personally outside of Hive can testify that I am a little bit grown on other social platforms and getting a blue tick or should I say a verified button has never come to my thoughts as I have personally been focused on building my brand and building my followers which I am achieving as I type right now.
Back to the story about my contact list, there is this my friend made a publication on his WhatsApp status saying how we will want to text Twitter money by getting his account verified first. At first I was wondering how can his account get verified because he had just 45 followers but then again I guess reverse was as likely to what I thought was going to be impossible as I personally find out later that you will have to pay to get your account verified and keep maintaining that payment to keep the verification button secure.
Now what I'm going to be dropping here on Facebook does not necessarily mean you will have to pay to get the blue tick as there is another way round as well which is what I am going to be dropping right below. Facebook can VERIFY your account even if you've just ONE follower on Facebook without paying for it. So, don't listen to anybody telling you that you must have 100,0000000000 before Facebook can verify. The very few major things Facebook looks out for includes:
1.Do you've a VALID government issued ID?
2.Are there EXTERNAL, verifiable sources that mentioned your name?
E.g are there websites where your names are written, either as a publisher or being published about? Of course , reputable website. Also, if you use a CUSTOM EMAIL from that source as your Facebook email, it will enhance your credibility. This can also involve a Facebook journalism pages or let's say a verified where there have to be a major mention on your name over time. There are pages on Facebook that are Known to Facebook as Journalism page.
They registered with Facebook as such and if you're linked to any of such, it quickens the process. So now you see that the number of followers or people you have on your profit are actually the very least thing that Facebook considers in getting your account verified.
Thank you for visiting my blog, I make publications daily here on hive so do well to stop by everyday if you like my work!
