An experience back then in school
In one way or the other everyone do have to experience some short of hardship in life and mine happened back then in school, I was about to prepare dinner, when I discovered that there was no match stick in the match box. I didn't have any cash on me, save a twenty naira note ($0.025). I was furious, no one was with me in my hostel. I had no choice than to leave the house to get it. After visiting two shops and was about to go back home with disappointment, I saw a little shop where they sell matches. I stretched out the twenty naira notes to the vendor with the gladness that I'm eventually going home with a match box when the woman said the price was thirty naira.
I went back home exhausted and just retired to bed on an empty stomach. As little as a match stick is, the role it plays cannot not be over emphasized. I could not make dinner despite the fact that I had every other ingredient to prepare a meal Why? There was no match stick. Now for you my dear friend with an over thinking isues of not being enough with your go gifts (be it business skills or whatever) That gift, potential, skills that you call little, amount to something. That thing you call little can be the answer to someone's problem. You wouldn't know how much you've got inside of you, if you don't start with that little that's in your possession.
As little as your engagement is, as long as you're making an impact, don't stop. Your little matchstick can ignite a fire. Without your little match stick, someone will sleep on an empty stomach. That your little matchstick can make a meal. Don't hoard your matchstick, Use it to ignite a fire. Start with that little in your possession and you will be amazed at how much you've got. Don't forget, you are meant to thrive. It was crazy how I went to bed with an empty stomach simply because I couldn't provide a 10 Naira note which is about $0.013. This little experience of mine actually boosted my business decisions to a quick execution at some points after so many years.
