Two days, two significant McD events
Two days ago McDonalds was visited by Donald Trump and the iconic pictures went around the world.
Last night on the contrary, it became clear that probably the onions on certain quarter pounder burgers in several US states were contaminated with bacteria and made almost 50 people sick, 10 had to be hospitalized and one guy even died. These cases happened already weeks ago but the link between the illnesses and McD burgers became clear just recently to CDC. Very bad press for the company. The stock is down significantly today.
This shows what a difference a day can make. Or like Forrest Gump once put it: „Shit Happens.“
