I have written personal info before but I don't think I have ever done so directly to the Leo community.
So here is one of three pictures of my almost finished bathroom.
I picked this image first as you can see me in the mirror.
I am writing this, in part, to let you know what motivates me to do a blog post each and every day.
And that is to make the most of each and every day you have. Whether it is online or offline.
The next picture is of the tile job I did around the jetted tub. I will get to the jetted tub part.
Those tiles are 12x24 inch. I have done very little tile work in my life. And I did not want grout lines so I butted the tiles. Not perfect but damn I like the job I did on it.
Third pic.
Give you a view a little higher up. My wife's decorating, not mine. Lol.
I am the brawn, she is the lip stick and mascara.
Back to the jetted tub and the bathroom as a whole. Why?
If you are not a regular reader of mine the short version is my wife is battling cancer. Eight and half years in. And we are to the final point where there are no more treatment options.
We are living each day the best we can.
So she wanted ensuite. As she gets sicker, less mobile she will have the convenience of a toilet, sink seconds away and not have to worry about someone being in the other bathroom.
Also the jetted tub. Hopefully she can use that to soothe any pain, or help reduce pain, or at least have some relax time in there.
So if you wonder why and how I can show up to Hive every day. Post every single day since I joined: 1200 plus days.
It is because I need to. Besides the fact that I believe Hive, LeoFinance, ctptalk, WeAreAliveTribe, are all part of an abundance in my future. I need to.
I do what I have to in life to keep myself happy, my wife happy.
Although I don't write pulitzer Prize articles every day I still show up.
I also get educated. I do a lot of reading on Hive. A lot of people's blog post. They motivate and add positivity to my day.
And trying to educate others and add positivity and motivation to their day inspires me.
Should I have excuses not to show up everyday? Some people would think so. I don't.
I am a giant believer in NO EXCUSSES.
I would say one of the last things I do on my Death bed will be to say good bye to the communities here on Hive.
This article started as, and I lost track, as a moral of the story was going to be: Me and my bathroom. If I can build that, then you can find something to post on Hive daily.
If I can work 7:30 to 5. Do house renovations, look after my wife and still post at least twice a day on Hive, three if you include my @hive-112281 account then so can you.
No ideas? Then be like most song writers, keep a note book, jot down every single idea that pops into your mind during the day.
You bet I am alive and Thriving.
