As 2020 draws closer to an end it is a good time to review how last years resolutions worked out and set new ones. This year my resolutions will have a new theme - and cryptocurrencies and LeoFinance will be taking center stage.
My Cryptocurrency Year In Review
As I have shared in past posts, I really just got interested in cryptocurrency this last August. I was introduced to earning free cryptocurrency by Brave browser and from there explored various ways to earn crypto from mining, faucets, playing games, and blogging.
I have learned so much this last year from just the basics of cryptocurrency to some of the more exotic deFi applications like yield farming. For an ENFP personality type, learning is a reward in and of itself. But learning how to make money in the crypto world is also financially rewarding too.
Like many things, I have spent some time going down dead ends. I spent months on Uptrend only to see the price drop from $0.05 per 1UP to $0.003 (last I cared to check). I was also very excited about Publish0x, but now see it is little more than a faucet and a way to earn a bit more on my blog posts. It didn't help that when I finally had enough Eth to cash out, my Eth earnings they got "lost" since they were sent as part of a Smart Contract that my exchange couldn't accept. Ugh...
But with each turn I took, I was learning what did work as well as what didn't. Thanks to a comment I received from @revise.leo I discovered Hive, and then LeoFinance, and now feel like I have found the home I had been looking for. While I'm no professional blogger (I are a Enginer lol), I enjoy coming to the site, reading and learning about crypto, and earning from curation and my blog posts.
Resolutions
This year my resolutions are going to focus on earning and growing cryptocurrencies, and Hive and LeoFinace will be a big part of those goals.
For LeoFinance, my goal is to increase my Leo stake by a factor of 10. I currently have around 1,300 LEO staked so my goal will be to increase that to 13,000 LEO. To reach this goal I will need to earn on average approximately 32 LEO per day. I am no where near that average today, but hope that I can grow my followers and blogging skills such that 32 LEO per day will be a bad day. I will probably never match @taskmaster4450 production, but I certainly can do better than I am currently achieving.
For Hive, my goal is to increase my HIVE stake by a factor of 10 too. While I earn LEO and HIVE while blogging on LeoFinance, my focus on Hive next year is going to be on getting a new community, and eventually a tribe, up and running.
As a part time web developer/hack I have had an idea for a website for a while that I think Hive can really make successful - a community dedicated to building and supporting building good habits. I started working on Hive Habits (hivehabits.io) a few weeks ago but haven't made much progress with the holidays. But next year I plan to hit it hard - including looking for some partners.
Happy New Years to You and Yours
I wish you all the best in the new year and look forward to growing with you on Hive and LeoFinance!
