Welcome to the weekly validator report. This week was a great week in our little corner of the Cosmos. Our EVMOS node launched up the rankings in to the 30s and our JUNO node got a bit of love from a whale delegation of over 10K $JUNO and then we has some other awesome community members step it up after seeing that we are here to do good things!

As far as on-chain governance, it was a slow week, so not much to report there. So let's get into the numbers shall we!

DAO Numbers

These numbers represent the total amount of rewards our validator nodes have received and the 30% DAO rewards broken down as 20% that gets swapped to USDC for donations to preserve the funds, and the 10% rebate paid back to delegators in the base token.

Currently the USDC is being swapped back to ATOM and cashed out through Kraken to our team checking account. In September, when DAO voting starts, the 20% USDC funds will be held in the DAO treasury.

Trees Planted

We planted an amazing amount of trees this week! No only did we plant last month's trees from commissions, but we also planted 2600 bonus trees! Here is how it broke down.

Note- The starting amount was actually 2570, but we had someone use our referral link for our Ecologi page and we were credited with an additional 30 trees. This gave us the starting figure of 2600 trees.

Rebate Amounts

10% of our commissions are given back to delegators in the form of rebates. These amounts will be paid to delegators on a monthly basis. This report shows what we have built up for the week.

Governance and Updates

EVMOS

This past week, due to the Nomad bridge hack, EVMOS underwent an upgrade in which were were ready for before launch. No new governance voting.

Sifchain

Prepped up our node for the upcoming Sifchain upgrade.

On This Week's Agenda

There has been an increasing amount of flack toward validators that are performing airdrops to their delegators. We are working with a couple of other validators to address this in a community fashion with some standards and guidelines for validators who are practicing this form of marketing. Not all validator specific airdrops are bad. We are wanting to distinguish the good players from the bad players.

Also on the agenda for the week is a continued focus on building out this awesome new website and getting the details nailed down for our own DAO token distribution. We are working on finding, or researching how difficult it would be to fork a multisend app from the EVM side to work with EVMOS so we can easily send our token rebates once that gets' started. We have also created an Instagram account that we will be using in conjunction with our Twitter account to help get the word out about our awesome ecosystem!

We are also going to be establishing a Cosmos Forum account for carbonZERO so we can get involved in the conversation there!

Other than that, we are working on launching a node for Assetmantle and have already filled out the information needed for a team delegation which will put us in the active set. This will not be one of our DAO focused chains like EVMOS and JUNO. The DAO will get 10% of any commissions after the server fees are paid, same as we do with their fellow chain, Comdex.

Beyond that we are always on the look out for new opportunities to try and jump on to new chains and testnets to try and work our way into the genesis sets! But, we are also actively researching these chains to see if they are going to fit our company values.
