Let's take a look at my first monthly report for my newly established InLEO/HIVE Web3 account. I created this account to serve as medium for a new writing-specific venture, a case study for potential referrals, and to have a fresh set of books (accounting purposes).
Outside of powering down some HIVE from my inactive OG account, @opinizeunltd to swap for some $LEO, my current stake has come from rewards and taking out a small loan using collateral to buy LEO off the market. My current stake is 5,250 LEO
Here's some of the numbers from Month 1:

Curation & Earnings
I think a lot of users take having the opportunity to earn immediately for granted. While these aren't life-changing numbers, I'd like to know where else can you earn income from posting content on day.
I'll wait...
- Total Rewards
- Total Rewards in USD (As of 1/31) - $35.95 (note: Rewards shown equate to roughly half of all your post earnings. Curators get the other half. Meaning, if I totaled all of my earnings it would equal roughly 2x my rewards in USD)
- Biggest Blog Post Payout - Law of First Instance
- Avg Payout Per Blog Post - $5.24
- Avg Payout Per Short - $2.04
- Curation Rewards - $2.4 HBD
Growth & Audience
- New Followers Gained - 19
- Total Followers - 19 (month 1)
Insights
Long-form Post Earnings
My long-form post rewards were good, but could've been much better. I have to take into consideration some of this was from testing out posting to communities I haven't engaged with before and trying a few other things.
With that said, a handful of posts generated little-to-no rewards, including one where my post was muted for not following the very specific community rules. No harm though...just a reminder to read the rules for each community you post content in. My posts that were picked up by the curation trail earned around $10 per post. I should see better results now that I've increased my stake and I can see where to make necessary adjustments.
Threads Earnings
Being active on Threads is where all of my organic engagement came from. Threads accounted for roughly 30% of my rewards overall. Pretty sure a nice chunk of it is from comments too. A reminder that engagement accomplishes more for brand new accounts than just posting w/ no audience or network.
4 Major Content Types
The fact that you can post to InLEO using four of the major content types (5 soon with livestreaming) is great for content creators . Even though my focus is writing/blogging, being able to utilize the other formats to test and grow my following is clutch.
Future Goals
LEOPower
My primary short-term goal is to reach Pride Rank (15,000 LEO) by March. Counting my current stack (5k) and my old account (4k that I'll unstake and transfer at some point), I have about 6000 $LEO to go. Current USD value of 6k LEO is around $200 so whatever I don't make in rewards, I'll be buying.
Commitments
I'm satisfied with my current output in regards to post quantity. Making the 10+ threads/day or the 10 long-form blog posts wasn't that demanding and I'm confident the efforts will compound if I keep it up.
The quality of my posts is where I can have the most improvement. The initial 30 days were more about flexing my writing muscle and gaining more clarity on what I wanted to accomplish. Now, with more stamina and certainty, I can increase my qualitative efforts.
Content
As you can see from my long-form posts , my content is often focused on the spirit world and the power of the mind. These concepts are closely related to the book title I'm currently working on so after I get a few more posts under my belt I'll start sharing those concepts from the book as posts.
