How is my dear Hive community? or should I say my dear Leo finance community? Actually, it is the first time that I propose to write here, I have had multiple ideas but seeing such specialized publications, I feel more comfortable writing on other topics where I have more experience.

However I saw a challenge for that new users venture into this community without a minimum of experience or technicalities, so today I come to tell you about my journey exchanging HBD (hive currency) for Uruguayan pesos, the currency of the country where I live.

¿Como se encuentra mi querida comunidad de Hive? o ¿debería decir mi querida comunidad de Leo finance? en realidad es primera vez que me propongo a escribir acá, he tenido múltiples ideas pero al ver publicaciones tan especializadas, me siento mas comoda escribiendo en otros temas donde tengo más experiencia.

Sin embargo vi un challenge para que los nuevos usuarios nos aventuremos en esta comunidad sin mínimo de experiencia o tecnicismos asi que hoy vengo a contarles mi travesía intercambiando los HBD (moneda de hive) por pesos uruguayos, moneda del pais donde resido.

I should start by explaining that my method is more associated with my comfort zone than with practicality or remuneration, since I previously lived in Venezuela and my changes were directly from hive or steemit to bolivars.

When I arrived in this country, I knew that there were methods like binance, bittrex, localbitcoin, usdt or other options where I could exchange my hive or hbd for another crypto that was easier to exchange for fiat currencies.

Deberia comenzar explicando que mi método esta más asociado a mi zona de comfort que a practicidad o remuneración, debido a que anteriormente residia en Venezuela y mis cambios eran directamente de hive o steemit a bolivares.

Al llegar a este país, sabía que existian metodos como binance, bittrex, localbitcoin, usdt u otras opciones donde podría intercambiar mis hive o hbd por otra cripto que fuera mas fácil de intercambiar por monedas fiat.

However, the interface of the exchange house to which I have been faithful for so many years, feels comfortable and easy to use, so much so that all the people I have brought to hive teach them how to be clients of @orinoco to exchange their cryptos for bolivars.

Although I have basic knowledge of the possibilities of exchanging between cryptocurrencies and fiat modems, I do not fully understand the process and that is why trying to get out of my comfort zone scares me a bit.

It should be noted that I am open to learning but I have not met anyone who can guide me on the subject.

Sin embargo la interfaz de la casa de cambio a la cual he sido fiel durante tantos años, se siente cómoda y fácil de usar, tanto que todas las personas a las que he traído a hive les enseño como ser clientes de @orinoco para intercambiar sus criptos por bolivares.

Aunque tengo conocimiento basico de las posibilidades de intercambio entre criptomonedas y modemas fiat, no conozco de lleno el proceso y es por ello que intentarlo saliendo de mi zona de confort me da un poco de miedo.

Cabe destacar que estoy abierta a aprender pero no he conocido quien me pueda orientar en el tema.

The exchange that I usually carry out requires having a high amount of hbd or hive to be able to see a useful sum in Uruguay, because the cost of living in Uruguay is quite high, so making an exchange for 10 or 20 dollars in equivalent would be very small amount of local currency.

We start knowing that the exchange consists of three steps and two different exchange houses, the first one we exchange hbd or hive for bolivars with @orinoco, in the second step we send said bolivares to a house of change in Uruguay, culminating in the third step in which the exchange house SendMoney exchanges bolivars for Uruguayan pesos.

A favorable point for people who live in Argentina and write here, is that the exchange house already has the direct exchange service for Argentine pesos, hopefully one day it will be direct for Uruguayan pesos, although I understand that the population of users in Uruguay is very low and is not profitable at the moment.

El intercambio que suelo realizar amerita tener una cantidad alta de hbd o hive para poder ver una suma útil en Uruguay, debido a que el costo de vida en Uruguay es bastante elevado por lo cual hacer un cambio por 10 o 20 dolares en equivalencia sería muy poca cantidad de la moneda local.

Comenzamos conociendo que el intercambio consta de tres pasos y dos casas de cambio distintas, el primero intercambiamos hbd o hive por bolivares con @orinoco, en el segundo paso dichos bolivares los enviamos a una casa de cambio en uruguay, culminando con el tercer paso en el cual la casa de cambio SendMoney me intercambia bolivares por pesos uruguayos.

Un punto favorable para las personas que viven en Argentina y escriben aca, es que la casa de cambio ya tiene el servicio de intercambio directo para pesos Argentinos, ojala algun dia este directo para pesos uruguayos, aunque entiendo que la poblacion de usuarios en uruguay es muy baja y no es rentable por el momento.

Today after several weeks saving the HBD from the rewards of my daily publications and with the collaboration of my partner @franqueff with 28 HBD we have managed to change 195 HBD during this process that I just explained to you, managing to obtain 816 bolivars equivalent to 181$, which when changed to Uruguayan pesos reaches the amount of 7421 pesos, this amount allows us to pay approximately 50% of the monthly rental cost with the profits obtained from Hive.

Personally, it is a great achievement because for a month I have not been able to work because I am on rest due to a femur fracture and I have had to leave my boyfriend with all the financial burden of the home in a very expensive country.

El dia de hoy luego de varias semanas ahorrando los HBD de las recompensas de mis publicaciones diarias y con la colaboración de mi pareja @franqueff con 28 HBD hemos logrado cambiar 195 HBD durante este proceso que les acabo de explicar, logrando obtener 816 bolivares equivalentes a 181$, los cuales al cambiar a pesos uruguayos alcanzan el monto de 7421 pesos, este monto nos permite pagar aproximadamente el 50% del costo del alquiler mensual con las ganacias obtenidas de Hive.

Personalmente es un gran logro debido a que desde hace un mes no he podido trabajar debido a que estoy de reposo por una fractura de femur y he tenido que dejar a mi novio con toda la carga financiera del hogar en un pais muy costoso.
