¡Una día emocionante con BCH!
No puedo dejar pasar la oportunidad de publicar un post sobre BCH y su actual cotización frente al dólar. La ocasión lo merece.
Como ya había comentado los precios del BCH buscaban suelo sobre los $920. El ataque bajista llevado a cabo el 03/05 no fue suficiente para hundir más los precios (gráfico, penúltima vela, mano azul). La siguiente vela, que es la que se empezó a formar anoche después de las 8:00 UTC nos ha sorprendido con un mega impulso que ha llevado el precio a un máximo de $1477.
Me parece importante explicar la formación de esta gran vela envolvente que vemos hoy en el gráfico diario de BCH:
- La resistencia entre los $1036 y los $1090 (bloque de rayas blancas, en el gráfico la vela la atraviesa) fue perforada con facilidad impulsada por un notable aumento del volumen de compras (el volumen del mercado para las compras y ventas podemos verlo representado en las barras verticales verdes y rojas, respectivamente). Si recuerdan (para aquellos que han estado siguiendo mis posts sobre el BCH|USDT), había mencionado que el aumento del volumen de compra era la clave para romper esta resistencia.
- Cuando la vela alcanza el borde superior de la banda de Bollinger, en torno a los $1090, consigue superarla dado el impulso que llevaba. Aquí ocurre algo más, como ya se ha comentado en otros posts; si conseguía romper esta banda superior, no encontraría ninguna resistencia hasta los $1220, como efectivamente ocurrió. Era un camino libre, sin trabas ni obstáculos, advertidos de antemano.
- Para el resto de la jornada, no creo que este máximo alcanzado hoy por BCH sea superado. Como no todo está escrito y como en el trading existe la posibilidad de equivocarse, el precio de cierre de esta vela está por ver. Así que mejor si en este punto me equivoco ツ.
- Si me preguntan cuánto puede retroceder el BCH antes de hacer un nuevo intento de alcanzar los $1477 les diría que lo suficiente como para caer a valores entre los 1100 y los 1030 dólares. ¿Por qué? Sencillo, este valor que antes era resistencia ahora se convierte en soporte. Y aquí hay un buen dato, ya que a los alcistas les costó romperlo para subir hasta donde está el precio ahora, a los bajistas seguramente también les costará perforarlo para llevar los precios a niveles inferiores.
Fíjate también en el gráfico, localiza el máximo alcanzado por el BCH, $1477, y fíjate en lo lejos que está este valor de la banda superior de Bollinger (señalo esta distancia con una doble flecha azul). De hecho, los precios siempre parecen estar alrededor de los bordes de las bandas de Bollinger o viven entre ellas.
Otras observaciones:
- Por otro lado observe que hay una mayor definición del MACD (mano naranja). Línea azul con cruce más definido hacia arriba sobre la roja. Clara señal de compra (ir en largo se dice en el trading) para los que quieran invertir en BCH.
- Observen también como el RSI (marcado dentro de la elipse vertical) está en 72 (elipse horizontal). Estamos entrando en sobrecompra. Pero por lo que ya hemos visto, BCH tiene capacidad para llegar a 80. Y por lo que vemos en el gráfico el RSI todavía tiene espacio para expandirse. Cerca de estos valores es recomendable vender BCH, esperar el pullback y comprar cuando el precio del activo se estabilice en un determinado soporte.

An exciting day with BCH!
I can't pass up the opportunity to publish a post about BCH and its current price against the dollar. The occasion deserves it.
As I had already mentioned, BCH prices were looking for a floor above $920. The bearish attack carried out on 03/05 was not enough to sink prices further (chart, penultimate candle, blue hand). The next candle, which is the one that started to form last night after 8:00 UTC has surprised us with a mega impulse that has taken the price to a high of $1477.
I find it important to explain the formation of this large engulfing candle we see today on the daily chart of BCH:
- The resistance between $1036 and $1090 (white striped block, on the chart the candle crosses it) was easily pierced driven by a remarkable increase in buying volume (market volume for buys and sells we can see it represented in the green and red vertical bars, respectively). If you recall (for those of you who have been following my posts on BCH|USDT), I had mentioned that increased buying volume was the key to breaking this resistance.
- When the candle reaches the upper edge of the Bollinger band, around $1090, it manages to break above it given the momentum it was carrying. Something else happens here, as already discussed in other posts; if it managed to break this upper band, it would not find any resistance until $1220, as indeed it did. It was a free path, without hindrances or obstacles, warned in advance.
- For the rest of the day, I do not think that this maximum reached today by BCH will be surpassed. As not everything is written and as in trading there is the possibility of being wrong, the closing price of this candle remains to be seen. So better if at this point I am wrong ツ.
- If you ask me how far BCH can pull back before making another attempt at $1477 I would tell you enough to drop to values between $1100 and $1030. Why? Simple, this value that used to be resistance now becomes support. And here is a good fact, since the bulls found it hard to break it to go up to where the price is now, the bearish will surely also find it hard to break it to take prices to lower levels.
Look also at the chart, locate the high reached by BCH, $1477, and note how far this value is from the upper Bollinger band (I point out this distance with a double blue arrow). In fact, prices always seem to be around the edges of the Bollinger bands or live in between them.
Other observations:
- On the other hand note that there is greater definition of the MACD (orange hand). Upward crossover of the blue line over the red line. Clear buy signal (go long is said in trading) for those who want to invest in BCH.
- Note also how the RSI (marked inside the vertical ellipse) is at 72 (horizontal ellipse). We are entering overbought. But from what we have already seen, BCH has the capacity to reach 80. And from what we see on the chart the RSI still has room to expand. Near these values it is advisable to sell BCH, wait for the pullback and buy when the asset price stabilizes at a certain support.
