Satellites, like everything that is created, has a certain useful life, much more so, satellites, from the moment they are designed they already have an expiration date.

Los satélites como todo lo que se crea tiene una determinada vida útil, mucho mas aún los satélites, desde el momento en que se diseñana ya tienen fecha de caducidad.
Si bien existen mucho satélites que se encuentran trabajando de manera contínua durante dos décadas o mas, hay otros que mueren antes de tiempo por choques con elementos espaciales u otros satélites convirtiéndose en basura espacial.
Recordemos que es muy difícil que estos restos de satélites caigan a la tierra debido a que la velocidad en que estos elementos es muy alta y rodean la curvatura de la tierra.
Existen planes de algunos gobiernos que consisten en reciclar en el espacio mismo su propia basura espacial.
