Splinterlands is an online collectible card game using the blockchain technology. Every user will need cards to play the game, these cards or assets are NFTs (Non-Fungible Token) which can be traded. These cards is used to play against other players. Now every card will have the unique ability and they are divided between Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. The more the ability, the more it can help you to win the games and the more expensive it becomes.
The season end is round the corner and it is just 2 days remaining. This time I have not used my Glint rewards and thus accumulating it to buy the Legendary Cards. Atleast 1 Legendary card I will buy this time. Along with that I have some more Glint rewards which I will use it to buy the Epic cards and thus this season I will buy atleast 1 Legendary card and some Epic cards.
Last time when I have bought the Epic cards I have got Shock Trooper from the water element. This is a great addition to my list and mostly I use it for most of the games. At 4 mana if you are getting the 4 magic attack, it's a steal and thus it helps you to win in the low mana game.
The only problem with this card is that it has Electrified ability thus it gives 1 damage to all the team members at the start of every round. Thus sometimes it's a problem but we have to use it deliberately. For example, if you are using some cards which has low health like 1 or 2, then they will be useful for 1 or 2 rounds only and not after that because their health will be reduced because of Shock Trooper. So when there is a high mana game, I use the Shock Trooper with some cards which high health so even if they get reduced by 1, it will se still useful.
As you can see in the above battle, I have used the Shock Trooper and along with that I have used other cards like Commander Slade, Kailan Ganes, Silverleaf Warlock, Henchling Enforcer. These cards usually are little more health so that it gives the Shock Trooper to hit the opponents monster one by one.
But I liked it to use when the mana is less because that time the opponent will also have less not so great cards to killing them with one blow is possible. Along with that the best use of this card is when there is Modifier is to remove all the ability. When the Electrified ability is removed, then it has just the 4 magic attack which makes it a deadly monster. But even after that I try to use this card for most of the games because it has the ability to take down the monster quite easily because of such big magic attack.
And when we have the modifier where we have to use 4 or below mana only then also it is a great card. So overall it's a good card to have but we have to use it cautiously because even though it's a great card, it's ability can be dangerous for your cards itself. So try to use with high health cards because this card can make your health go down after every round. And that's where Ulundin Overseer comes into picture. It has around 12 health and when it is weapons trained, it can be a good combo with the Shock Trooper. So if you don't have This card, I would suggest you can get it or you can get the Epic chest from the Glint rewards. You will surely get it.
