Week 5 Results | 20W-17L-6P | +0.347 Units Profit

This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

Week 5 was somewhat of a rollercoaster being a bit more courageous on my stakes in the Europa League matches and the game between Standard and Oostende on Friday which punished me dropping nearly 2 full units also thanks to a blind VAR who for some reason validated a clear offside goal from Standard. as always, I'm doing the opposite of chasing slightly lowering my stakes which was followed by a great Saturday and Sunday with many of the matches playing out exactly as predicted. This made me still somehow end the week with some profit.

Pre-Game Preview Bets Season 2021-2022

Just like that, I'm up again on the highlighted pre-game bets that I got into as there were 2 nice winners on high-scoring matches with high odds. It's unlikely that the overall results of these bets this year will be similar to these bets compared to last season where they really crushed it. I do only put up bets I take myself and believe have a positive expectation which on its own is no guarantee that they will end up as profitable.

Season 2021-2022 Personal Betting Chart

The overall chart of the season results looks even more choppy this week after 232 bets mostly because there is quite a gap between bigger and smaller positions. The general trend is up though and I have done a nice +7.52% ROI so far on 232 bets after 5 weeks so there is nothing to complain about. There were two weekend-matches postponed and I was unable to bet in the 1st half of the Kv Mechelen match which is the reason the overall volume was below 10 units. The aim is still to increase my overall stakes and volume which is not easy because I'm taking a lot of corner bets which generally have lower limits.
