This is a small update to say Happy Birthday to Hive, to all those who from the beginning have been here and to all those who like me join the rows of this hive.
Today is a special day, the day everything changed, the genesis of the blockchain that has brought us so much joy, the blockchain that changes lives (for the better), that connects and creates bridges of love, that does not believe in borders and does not divide.
Today is the 3rd anniversary of #Hive.
This is the first Hive birthday I'm present for, as although I've owned an account here since November 2021, I wasn't aware of what I was doing until March 2022, so I don't remember Hive's 2nd birthday. Let's just say I was a misguided bee until I found the @HiveCuba community. The rest of my story is stored in some Hive blocks.
Today I am a moderator of that community and proud creator of @HiveRemesas, the startup that allows Cubans to pay for basic services such as electricity, telephone, internet and send remittances to Cuba using HBD and HIVE.
To show our support and total dedication to this project, a well known friend (who we all call Dan 😉 ) has motivated us to make a special PowerUp, so here's mine:
There are many reasons to make a #PowerUp, but mine are the following:
- To boost my influence on the blockchain, by contributing more with my vote in each UpVote.
- By strengthening my voting power, my healing rewards will also increase.
- I gain interest by having my Hive in the form of HP, at the rate of 3% per year (approximately).
- Last and not least is to have fun and participate in this raffle.
This year I will be looking to exceed 1000 HIVE in stake, a goal that so far, for various reasons, has eluded me. I have, in addition, a special interest in delegating a good deal of HP with the aim of winning layer 2 tokens such as $POSH and $LEO.
In fact, this Power Up today has been realized thanks to $POSH, as I was able to trade a small stash for SWAP.HIVE and from there withdraw it to my wallet. This action has taught me not to underestimate the power of these tokens. So this year I am going for them.
To reach my goal of 1000 HP I will have to work hard, make some additional Power Up and set up the reward distribution 100% to HP. It will not be easy, but I am confident that I will achieve it before the end of the year.
