I have been saying this for some time now that we are still so early an we need to have patience for crypto adoption to happen with crypto that has the ability to cross over into real world use cases. Unfortunately not all crypto will be adopted and why one needs to do the research now before this happens.
Why people mess around with Meme coins is simply crazy as this makes no financial sense besides the pumps they may experience ,but that is a trend that will disappear once the serious money enters the crypto eco system. The smart money is building in legitimate crypto that has a proven real world use case.
The screen shot of the comment above is a prime example of what we are seeing take place on the likes of COTI and VeChain (VET and VTHO). The 882K transactions happening on the new COTI V2 daily which is literally only 5 weeks old. This is only generating 83 COTI daily in fees which if you did not know you would call very disappointing.
Over the last week the number of active contracts has increased from 50 to 66 and we know there are another 26 close to going live. This is a drop in the bucket from what we will see in 5 years from now and we can add may zero's to these numbers. Tens of thousands of COTI will be spent on transaction fees and the Digital Euro alone will account for millions of daily transactions.
The same thought needs to be applied to the VeChain which is currently running at around 1% of were it needs to be in order to make it deflationary. 36 million is the magic number of how many VTHO are created daily. This will all change from July 1st when the new staking protocol takes over and those holding VET will no longer earn daily VTHO rewards unless they are staked.
The VeChain is waiting on the CBAM regulations to roll out in January 2026 which will immediately highlight why the transaction fees are so low as the blockchain is geared for hundreds of millions of transactions daily and not the paltry 300K we see today.
The low transaction fees have been implemented by design and this is not a mistake or over sight. As a business model do you honestly think all the development and hard work is worth $6.70 in COTI's case and $960 for VeChain as a daily cost to use their infrastructure? This is what it is costing today and why there is so much room to grow we adoption finally takes place.
These 2 cryptos have built what is required and will scale up the numbers through what they have created. This is the quiet before the storm as we know these numbers are going to go parabolic at some point within the next 6-12 months. When we consider how long we have already been involved in crypto another 12 months is nothing with what value this will all bring. These figures are going to shock us in a good way as we have no idea and cannot even guess how big these numbers are going to be.
