Today is Wednesday so it is another opportunity to receive the GCOTI reward tokens and to stake them. This is all part of the accumulation and compounding process to grow the overall stake.
This is actually quite an easy one to work out how much extra rewards are being added daily through the GCOTI reward each week. Today I receive 295 GCOTI which boosts my overall COTI stake by 26.19% when staked 1 for 1. This would represent an extra 0.2 COTI rewards earned daily which may not seem like much, but this add up fairly quickly.
The current daily earnings have been boosted by roughly 10% this week due to liquidations which have filtered back to those staked in the Treasury. Give or take I am earning roughly 57 COTI daily currently which is around 400 COTI weekly and I will happily accept that number.
The end goal for the peak of this cycle is to still have 200K COTI to sell and buy back once the bear market hits. This is still quite hard to comprehend that over the next 6 months this s going to happen yet history tells us it will some how. With so much volatility around it is hard to gauge what values will be added and will it be a decent cycle with ATH's which is what we are all hoping for.
This COTI stake will represent close to 4 years work and is my major stake investment outside of the HIVE eco system. The initial plan was to have 5 major stakes or largish stakes, but soon realized that was never going to happen. VET may be the 3rd which staking starts on July 1st so we shall see how that pans out.
My staking policy is not random and I do think having more of less rather than less of more is the wise way to stake. Why have lots of different tokens, but no real sizeable amount as that makes no financial sense and you are diluting your chances of doing well. Some believe this way you are covering yourself, but if you do not have the bigger numbers then it is just pocket change.
200K COTI would equate to $132K on the last ATH and 200K VET which is my goal as well would be $50K if the market cycle plays out this time. These values could be far less or far higher and is the fun part of crypto not knowing what you have.
Bot of these projects will be in the news with COTI becoming an L2 Eth token on or around the 25t of this month. I do not think it will be a sell the news moment and expect big things moving forward. The privacy technology that COTI V2 offers can be used on every blockchain and developers have been busy for the last few months integrating this and all will be revealed shortly. This is when I expect the price to go ballistic so we shall wait and be patient to see how this unfolds.
