My COTI Treasury stake has frown by over 8000 in the last 17 days which is a combination of rewards and what I have purchased. This is a case of just getting the target done as soon as possible so all the extra tokens are literally a bonus. I am starting to think maybe 220K is now possible before we see the peak of this cycle which is an extra 10% and who knows what that extra 10% could be worth in a dollar value.
The COTI staking project has been a test for myself to see what value can be unlocked over a 4 year crypto cycle through being consistent and sticking to the plan.
This week was another good one for accumulation and the target is getting closer and closer. With the airdrop rewards being paid out every second week the target is no longer in doubt and will be achieved and more importantly surpassed in relative comfort before October.
On HIVE the one thing we know all too well is how to grow and accumulate and can grind out the numbers if given the time. What I find amazing is how quickly one can unlock real value once you set your mind to the task at hand. The consistency with the claiming of rewards and the compounding that takes place once they are all staked as one.
The APR in the COTI treasury has been a roller coaster ride having jumped up to 11% as the base rate and is now down at 6.9% on the no risk level 1 tier. All this means if you want to earn those higher rewards you have to keep accumulating growing your bag.
Two weeks ago the rewards were sitting pretty at 110 per day and last week dropped down to 90 which is still very good and now down at 80 COTI daily which is still pretty good. I do believe we have kind of bottomed out when it comes to the APR and the idea is now to keep accumulating the stake and getting back to where the rewards were through growth of stake. The 80 COTI daily still represents close to $135 monthly and if you had asked me 4 years ago I would have taken this. I believe COTI will be above $1 this cycle so these daily rewards could be quite significant when it is time to sell.
The GCOTI does help boost the daily rewards and had not paid too much attention to this before as I do not see this token as a selling investment. COTI is the main focus and the GCOTI will just remain behind once the COTI is sold ready for the reinvestment having sold and bought back in. The GCOTI is too important to discard as it does boost the APR considerably. The price is very cheap right now and believe the price will rise considerably in the future and there is far less supply of GCOTI available. The GCOTI I have is only worth $606 and generates 44 COTI daily via the APR boost and why it has value as that generates more than the entire COTI stake valued at $10K.
