Back on January 11 2022 Hive was soaring high ranking at number 2 on the Lunar Crush Galaxy Social score. The difference between Hive and a majority of all other crypto communities is we are not bot accounts and genuine human beings behind our tweets.
I have no idea how this is calculated or where these stats come from as 9.06m social engagements cannot just be all Hive?
With twitter removing bot accounts one would think this will change the ranking on sites like Lunar Crush who gather stats creating ranking scores via the number of mentions a crypto has. We all know so many projects are more hype than real use case and by making a noise makes them visible to the retail investors.
Now we have Leothreads which adds another weapon to the arsenal combined with the Hive community we should see the ranking be more consistent. The removal of the bots cannot be underestimated especially when it comes to voting for various projects showing the strength of a community.
There are not many blockchains that have the number of users like Hive who are active every single day. The community is what is going to drive Hive and the power this holds cannot be underestimated.
We all know that Hive has been purposely kept under the radar as being decentralized we are seen as a threat to other projects. Not having a figure head has been seen as a negative for so long, but in reality it is actually a huge positive. Every crypto project calling themselves decentralized funny enough has a figurehead type of figure which reaffirms how centralized they really are.
LunarCrush shows @coinight is the top Hive influencer this week.
I was expecting to see @taskmaster4450 to appear in the top 5, but even he is down at number 8.
With what we have at our fingertips now we can make more noise and let every know what we have to offer on Hive. It wont be long before everyone knows or has heard about Hive in some form or another as we have no excuses having such an active large community. Maybe we can channel our energy into a planned push to make the extra noise we need in order to be heard. For Hive to grow we all need to stick up our hands and do something next year to help the cause.
