No it wont as you guys set the standards for your people to follow.
We often hear that whatever the leaders do then it filters down through to those below them. This is why businesses should all be above board as you don't want to show any negativity or wrong doing to your subordinates. This goes for Government officials as what is good for the Goose then it is good for the Gander.
If you want to understand a nation and why they are always looking for a bribe or a back hander then it has to come from somewhere. 2 weeks ago we had the ANC Congress where they elect their party leader and the top 7. The Party leader is the one who would lead the country as they are the ones currently in power.
I have often wondered why there are some many delegates attending and why it is so well supported. They are given hotel accommodation along with all the trimmings as they are spoiled rotten. The leaders have to win them onboard via lobbying African style. I think this article explains how things work in South Africa as it is very clear and obvious why the economy is failing as this is a mafia state.
I have seen films etc depicting American politicians and how they lobby via deals which are in favor of a wealthy backers whether it be oil, pharmaceuticals or another section of the industry. This is big business and dirty business as I do expect money does change hands as I am not that ignorant. The deals are not exactly in the open but we know they are going on behind the scenes.
National treasury Funded Bribes.

Looks like %100K per position for each vote or $6K x 8 = $50K for a 4 day conference. This is held every 5 years and is attended by more than 4400 voting delegates.
African lobbying is vary different as if you want to be voted in you have to pay for the votes. Now you can see why here are so many delegates attending the conference as if they choose wisely they will pick up 8 x payouts in cash plus have an inside line to a Government position.

R200k bundles or $12k (roughly) so either R2.8 million or R4.2 million in this box as we cant see how many layers besides 2. They would need far more than this however as it is 8 positions being paid for.
Today there were some tweets flying around saying that the elections were corrupt as the votes were paid for. Others came out and said this has always been the case from when the ANC took power back in 1994. This is how things are done here and why delegates get given hotel accommodation along with endless parties and free booze.
Video Openly Admitted Bribes Must watch as they are not hiding the fact that they pay for votes.
ANC National Chairperson, Gwede Mantashe, was interviewed on live television where he said the bribes were not that bad this time compared to the last time. He said they scaled them down and obviously out paid their opposition as they still won.
The Government is clearly above law and order and are not being held accountable as they are the ones in charge. This is why the country is in the mess we find ourselves right now as there is no leadership who cares about the country.
