The Bear market without doubt is the most exciting time in crypto only if you have a plan to make a difference. The plan is to come out the other side holding so much more value than if you did nothing. The Bear is when to make the moves going form what seems like nothing to something of serious value. Those of us who have been around for sometime no what this means as this is the time to make the difference.
Who knows how long this Bear market will last but that should make no difference in your thinking. If this lasts 2,3 or 4 years it doesn't matter as to be honest the longer the better for you to grow your bags. Time is your friend and using it wisely is the key right now in order to achieve personal milestones or goals you have set yourself.
The aim we all have by being involved in crypto is to one day be financially independent not having to worry about a monthly wage but be in charge of our own destiny. Others outside of crypto do not understand what the big plan is as that is so far out of their realm they may think what we are trying to achieve is impossible. The ones in the know already know what is possible and achieving these goals is within reach and not pie in the sky.
My portfolio is down around 70% from last year but that doesn't worry me as when the Bull makes an appearance that portfolio will be 3 x what it was worth and that is being conservative.
A good test is to periodically check your bags and multiply each one by the ATH and you will be amazed at how far you have come just in the last 6 months. No price is guaranteed however unless you have selected a decent project to invest in knowing or having a feeling it will be worth much more. Many of my bags are or would be worth 8 x what they were 6 months ago so the 3 x is being conservative on where this could all end up.
Compounding via staking is the key right now as this grows without you really noticing it and the longer it is staked the more you make. A stake like HBD with a 20% APR with no additional stake added will more than double in just 4 years so imagine what happens if you are topping up that stake. This becomes clearly obvious with all your portfolio that is staked which if you are topping up regularly a 3 x growth is child's play and why a 5-8 x is seriously doable.
I joined crypto as the Bear hit the last time in 2018 and have taken in as much information that is possible over that time until now. I enjoy working with numbers as they make sense to me for some weird and wonderful reason. If your portfolio is down 70-80% now you have the opportunity to build that back and reduce that percentage being in the prime seat to take advantage of when the bull market hits. This is why taking charge and doing far more is key to getting ahead capitalising on the Bear.
