To say thigs are gong smoothly with my COTI stake would be an understatement as the APR has increased over the last few days making for bumper pay days. Up from the normal 53 daily COTI rewards average it is now sitting on 84 daily COTI rewards.
The stake is somewhat in limbo land until we fully move over to the new COTI V2 wallet and I can add more COTI which I have waiting to go in. I am roughly 16% short of my initial 200K COTI stake target and very comfortable where we are in the crypto cycle as I believe I will accomplish this in time.
The unexpected rise in the APR is a boost that is helping make the target far easier to reach. Again I am not fooled into thinking this APR is going to last, but will take the extras for as long as they are on offer.
Having a base APR rate of 9.2% is magical plus the extra boost provided by the GCOTI stake which staked on a 1/1 basis with COTI provides an extra 36.83%. I only have roughly 25% of my stake covered at this time, but it s still very decent. If I had the extra GCOTI I would be earning 211 COTI daily which is a difference of 127 COTI. I will definitely buy some more GCOTI once the move happens to the new Treasury ,but definitely not going all in as this is not an investment for sale at the end of the cycle. The COTI will be sold, but the GCOTI will remain behind for the next cycle which will speed the process up once I rebuy back the COTI.
I do think the next cycle between 2026 and 2030 is going to be huge from a financial perspective with all the institutions pouring in. The train of thought is if I could grow COTI from 0-200K this cycle and after selling and going back in early next year this could be closer to 500K COTI staked or even more.
The beauty about all of this now is we all know e recipe that unlocks real dollar values and these values ae going to turn into significant numbers the longer we remain active. Crypto is our ticket to getting ahead in life and we need to make this time count as much as possible. Not only is this good fun, but it could be the most productive period in our lives from an economic view point.
Each day that passes I am still amazed at how few people are involved in crypto and how few of those who are in crypto see the urgency as time in this case is no longer your friend. Every cycle completed is one less cycle before real adoption happens and I do think we shall see this taking place next cycle in a big way.
