I have always been a crypto-evangelist...
Whenever I meet someone and get talking, at some point or another, the conversation end up going into crypto and bitcoin.
But they are too busy and the barrier of entry is too high for them to get started. Just identity verification alone can keep someone to finally get into the game.
People love talking yield
So when we talk about crypto, usually the conversation end up being about potential price appreciation that goes to the moon or in the toilet. People don't like volatility very much (crypto degens like us don't care, but we are weirdos).
I noticed that when I Segway into something like: "Did you know that you could get up to 9% yield on stablecoins?" People stop and want to know how to get on that bandwagon right now!
Usually all that is needed is a short zoom call to setup an exchange account and a Celsius Network account and they are off to the races. Then they start noticing more volatile assets such as BTC, ETH, etc. and might want to diversify into them.
It's important
And it matters, this is people's retirement, education fund, etc. This is about helping people holding onto their lifesavings, the energy they spent at work, etc.
Crypto is a great opportunity for a lot of different people. Some want the moonshot of their lives, other just want to get to retirement without losing everything. We now have the infrastructure to be a speaking to a lot of different people, from low-risk investors all the way to institutional traders. Let's use all the tools in our toolbelt to do that.
