A great appeal for Nimiq is that JavaScript developers, which are aplenty, could get started with developing on the Nimiq blockchain with their existing JavaScript skills.

Nimiq has also recently reactivated its Nimiq Community Funding Board funding mechanism, which is timely given they are about to transit to Nimiq 2.0.
The largely untapped native internet-browser users may be waiting for your Nimiq app! Take action!
