What a pleasant surprise! I have officially acquired my Dolphin fins according to Hivebuzz.
It has been a long quest from the beginning to reaching the minnow level, and now to the Dolphin level status. The quest took around 4 years to reach my current level. There have been hiccups and a series of pauses in my activities in the earlier phase which is one of the reasons why it took longer.
The early stage was challenging since I was still trying to figure out the niche that I would work on. In a blogging platform like Hive, it’s important to determine the specific content subject that you will post consistently. A specific subject for the content will determine the specific Community that it should be posted to and Hive has hundreds of communities under its umbrella.
Although there are plenty of Communities on the platform, there are only a few that have dedicated curators who are actively distributing rewards by upvoting content that is posted on their community page.
As soon as you figure out the niche that you wish to participate in, thorough research about the specific Community that you want to participate in must be done to have a good chance of getting the exposure that your content needs to acquire the rewards for your content.
What contributed to my slow progress in the early stage was the lack of focus and consistency on my part. One reason for that is not knowing what would be my niche to focus on.
It’s important to decide which Community to focus your attention on and be able to build a network among the community members as well. It’s crucial to be able to gel with the community and gain their trust. It’s important because most of us here are anonymous. Our usernames are the only identity that the community may know about us.
Hence, a good way to showcase your dedication to the platform and genuine interest in being part of the community is to show your authenticity through your content and stake. There’s nothing more valuable than content that speaks to your personality.
Lastly, your stake in the platform will say it all.
