I've become more and more convinced that true growth happens during the lowest points of one's life. I can say the same thing about this chain, as it is clearly at a low point in terms of coin price and user activity. However, the devoted users here never seem to stop contributing, whether through content creation or development. It’s truly inspiring to see ongoing progress, even though participating might not feel worthwhile anymore due to the low value of Hive rewards.
But that hasn’t stopped people from continuing to build and contribute on this platform.

Just a few days ago, some developers launched a new onboarding initiative that benefits both the newly onboarded users and the ones who bring them in. I think it’s a well thought out system, aiming to train new users while rewarding them for engaging with the platform. It also includes a reward structure for the so-called "verified onboarders," which I think is really cool. I hope this initiative has a positive impact on the platform’s user base. The project is called checkinwith.xyz, and I encourage you to check it out if you have someone to invite to Hive.
In other parts of the world, Hive users are taking their own initiatives to spread awareness about the chain. I think these efforts are a great way to spark interest and potentially bring in new users and investors.
Earlier today, I saw a post about a group of Hive users promoting Distriator at an event called Beers and Bitcoin if I’m not mistaken.
Personally, I think this is a fantastic way to promote Hive and HBD by giving people a chance to use crypto in real-world settings, such as buying food and drinks. That hands-on experience helps people see Hive and HBD as legitimate currencies, both for storing and exchanging value. It’s amazing to see this happening, especially during a time when Hive’s price performance is lagging, even in the middle of a bull run.
Still, I hope things turn around in terms of price action in the coming months. It would be frustrating to see this chain fade into obscurity despite its strong use case and blockchain technology.
I believe the best way to support Hive is simply to keep posting regardless of the price. There’s not much else we can control. Coins that are getting attention now are mostly the big or trendy ones. For example, I saw that Solana is running a marketing campaign on YouTube, rewarding creators with SOL for participating. The prize pool is massive, and I think it's a smart way to push crypto into the mainstream.
I just wish Hive had done something similar back when we still had a large and valuable fund. Unfortunately, that’s not the direction things took. Then again, we never really know what works until we try it. Everything feels wrong when it doesn’t work regardless of how good the idea was, while things feel right when they work even if the solution didn’t make much sense at the time. Funny how that works, LOL.
Hive's true strength lies in the passion and persistence of its community, even during tough times. As long as we continue to create, share, and support one another, the platform will keep moving forward. Let's keep building the future we believe in—one post at a time.
