It occurred to me today that once we had pageview numbers for every post on Steemit.com during the old Steem era and it was removed somehow without any explanation. We did not bring it back when hive.blog went online either.
When engagement was minimal and comments were rare, I really enjoy checking if my post can hit a higher pageview number, even if a large number does not mean higher reward.
Authors long for interaction - itself is a form of reward.
I don't know why they removed it and don't know why Hive did not bring it back. But today I thought ...
LeoFinance.io should totally bring it back!
Is there any technical barriers? Just showing the numbers sounds easy to me really.
Leo should do this. Since Leo is a place that emphasizes ad revenue and pageviews is king for attention economy.
We can at least just let it show up before we do anything with it like associating auto votes with it etc... (need to consider exploiting behaviors etc)
