Ok, yesterday I was able to do a little cover up article concerning the future of human art paintings. Ofcourse, we have seen or heard of artifacts that sold huge with values expected to rise as years goes by. Is it only old time paintings that are worth the purchase? I had to dig a little dip and indeed it proves there is still much vacancy for art painters to thrive. When we think AI will soon fold them up, it seems it will even add more fragrance to this industry. Nevertheless, I must add, artist who fail to upgrade are likely to be left behind, so there is still room for unemployment.
That was by the way, today, we will be looking at the building industry and how it relates with building materials. Do people in the line of building material business still have enough time to do business?. This prompt happened yesterday when I saw a bag of cement. You just wonder, the economy is tough and people are still building. I don't know much about advanced countries but what I can day about developing countries is this; the real estate business is just beginning.
I remembered I talked about something familiar in an article I wrote some months ago while traveling to another state. The massive area of land I saw showed that we are just crowding ourselves. Come to think of it, a country like Nigeria with over 230 million people in population. The building materials industry from here is proving to be a big market one. Before entering into the big market, I just want to first site from the area of block production. It seems this business is on the radar.

This business is almost taking the whole city. It is one good business I must say, blocks stand the test of time and it price keep going up. Block work is of utmost importance when it comes to building a house, at least I know of that over here. You will even need it to fence round your new building for the assumed security purpose.
Running a quick diagnostic on what is on people mind daily shows a green light for this industry. What do I mean here? Interview any youth or adult and ask him what are his plans and you are likely to hear, 'I want to build my house' as part of a needful achievement. Personally, I do also what to build something that will fit my taste someday. Doing some mathematics, the population of youths outweighs the adult by a large margin. Even adding to this, not ALL adults have even built their dream house yet.
Maybe the building materials industry is much more lucrative than I imagined. Nigeria being a developing country also put the government into building concerns. Let's look at urbanization and infrastructural projects; roads, schools, hospital, recreation center, military bases, houses for the poor and less privileged and so on are needful as long as the country continues to expand. Without even looking out from the national window, this industry is still at a virgin stage over here.

Shifting from government and individual concerns, entrepreneurs are making the most out of the real estate industry. It is undergoing a surge as we speak over here. A lot of building materials are being made use of on a daily basis from my personal experiences. Recently when I entered the wood and construction market close by, trucks where pushing goods in and out. transaction was happening even in this harsh economy. It was something I had to ask myself, how was this market when the prices of things were even much affordable.
To conclude, let me add, without even going through the global market, my local analysis concerning building materials industry has shown it is still a lucrative business opportunity that will indeed stand the test of time. When it comes to global building materials supply, China is taking the lead on this. The global market size for this is hitting the trillions (recorded at nearly $1.5 dollars in 2022) with continuous surge year in year out. Personally, I feel the figures are even lower. When adding to the local market it far exceeds this.
