You can describe a person's views and mentality by his mentor. The books we read affect us. The videos we watch as role models and even the music we listen to. I read an article on chain yesterday about how the writer said he so much wanted to become like his role model in terms of looking bulky. It happens he ended up overtime realizing it was not his perfect fit to look bulky. He had to readjust by himself and got the life pattern that fits him in the process. The readjustment needs to be considered as it points out 'unlearning' to progress. This article is meant to center much on finances, I had to bring out an external factor to lay concrete explanations.
Who taught you about money? What makes you value it this much? How was the connection activated? Surprisingly, even the unlearned know its value (atleast to buy something or exchange for goods or services). If you want seriousness even in the midst of learned and unlearned you just have to introduce it as a price tag. So yes, we general accept it as a problem solver. If you recall the words of the teacher,'King Solomon' in the bible book of Ecclesiastes it is recorded that 'feast is made for laughter, wine makes life merry, and money is the answer for everything'. The fact is well established here, money answers all the feast and merriment things. Not all of us read the Bible so it means they environment or society has taught us something, without money you are nothing if I am not being too direct here.

So how do you get money? You have to learn the system of money; get involved in what will attract a NOW or later transaction to you. The school was introduced as days advanced to create a vacuum to get paid. This is where I always raise this personal question of 'why didn't they teach money directly rather than means to wear yourself out to get it in the name of job?'. We can from here say we have become victims of a pattern or transferred knowledge. Who even taught our teachers in the first place and how come they choose this pattern?
Demand and Supply
In the early industrial age the demand for employees skyrocketed and the coded system of creating employees flooded the world system. You better be learned if you want a fat bank account. It worked but for some time and when the demand was against supply we have seen certificates just a thing and nothing much. Just like citing the earlier case of training oneself to look bulky. Of course, you will be very attractive to people when you walk along the way, what happens when everyone starts looking bulky too? Ahh! We've seen this one before, your impression will count to little or nothing. Personally I wouldn't want to look bulky for many reasons. I do my daily exercise to look fit and smart but to grow too much muscles is a no for me.

The supply chain in the world of chasing money through employment has drastically sinked yet many are still holding on to wrong teachings. Why not synchronize this system? Maybe those at the TOP stands to lose much or perhaps the schooling system is trying to retain value. The wrong teaching is still continuing in the most reliable institutions for knowledge. Many don't know what this means but in just one word we can say 'doomed' employees. jobs are shrinking when even adding to what we await from the AI industry. Why are humans spending years collating much papers rather than getting down to the point.
Unlearning
We are in a new era which calls for unlearning. As I earlier said, there were times when employees were hot cakes. Times have changed yet the belief system of 'working for money' that was triggered is still playing out. When 90% of the population have a work for money mentality there will continue to be lots of issues. It is going to be gradually process of unlearning. Many of my colleagues talk about school most of the time, it is only few that have my mentality of creating my own money. No regards lost for them, all I am saying is that there is a need for readjustment. The worse scenario is being too job dependent. Consider this Bible saying, 'sow your seed in the morning, do not withdraw your hands in the evening for you know not which one will be good either one or both'.
To conclude, let me add, the last quote is self explanatory, work for others and also yourself. If the majority could get this straight I feel the burden will be easier on the coming generation. A friend of mine told me she has spent much of her days working for others without establishing herself. Her conclusion was to make sure her children don't take the same direction in life. The earlier the amendment teaching the better, things have indeed changed.
