I use HiveBuzz to review my relative ranking of Hive Power and HBD Savings on a weekly basis.
But hivebuzz also reflects the different badge levels as well. I am currently a Minnow and even though my goal is to reach 5,000 Hive Power, I must reach that level before I can reach the Dolphin level.
However I noticed that the Hive Power to reach Dolphin level keeps increasing. I discovered that it increases by the 3% APR so if you just stand still and do nothing you will gain the 3% APR but you will never advance. Currently to reach Dolphin level, you need between 5637 and 5649 Hive Power this would put around 1988 in the Hive Power Ranking on HiveBuzz.
Hive Target
First my goal is to reach 5,000 Hive Power then to become a Dolphin. I must reach one before I can reach the other. How many times have you created goals that have you skipping steps? You may want to review your goals every now and then to ensure your goals are focused on the next logical step in the progression. Remember to always have your Short, Medium and then Long Term Goals established so that you can create a plan to reach them.
Reaching my goals is mostly about activity. Without activity my account will grow but only by the slightest amount.
Growing my account is very important. My weekly reports help me see how my account has grown from the activity that I expended. My goal is to reach 5000 Hive Power then Dolphin level. My current Hive balance is 2,622. Up 14 Hive Power from last week.
Hive Power Ranking
This is the very interesting part about the HiveBuzz Hive Power Ranking. It is a relative ranking. My last week ranking compared to this week proves this out in an interesting way. Both last week and this week, my Hive Power grew by 14. So if you are just looking at growth, you would expect the same type of moment from week to week. This is the interesting part, last week I few three positions in the ranking but this week I was able to jump ahead by several positions.
To help me see how my hive account is growing relative to others on the Hive Platform, I track my Hive Power Ranking. Last week, I was ranked 3521 and this week my relative Hive Power ranking has moved up to 3511. An increase of 10 positions for the week. Even though I grew my account by 14 Hive each week, my relative strength as compared to other Hive Users ended with totally different results.
HBD Savings Ranking
Another metric that I track is my relative rank to others on the Hive Platform in HBD Savings.
HBD saving is an easy way to get a return of 20% APR. This is one of the passive income streams that I hope to strengthen over time. I do not have very much in HBD savings only 45 HBD but by reviewing it on a weekly basis, this will encourage me to add to my savings. I added 1 HBD this week.
The Interest earned so far this month is 0.298 HBD. My goal is to grow my HBD savings balance so that I receive 1 HBD in interest each month.
Currently, my relative HBD Savings ranking is 2212 compared to 2228 last week. It is a nice increase in positions but as I grow my savings there will be fewer people with that amount so it will take more HBD to move up the same number of position as in prior weeks. I would like to add a whole lot more to my saving of HBD to receive the 20% APR. But I will need to add it at a very slow pace since this will also slow down my adding to my Hive Power.
Hive Received Rewards
I had skipped two days in creating content and it is easy to see this in the graph on the right hand side as there is not any green amounts on two of the days. There are times this will happen and you just need to not feel bad or beat yourself up because of a missed day. All it will do is make you feel worst and make it harder to recover.
My Author Rewards dropped to 17.66 HP ($5.48) with Curation Rewards of 4.03 HP ($1.25) as compared to last weeks amounts of 20.52 HP ($6.13) with Curation Rewards of 3.61 HP ($1.08).
In reviewing the 30 Day chart, it shows my Author Rewards were 75.89 HP ($23.55) with Curation Rewards of 15.07 HP ($4.68) as compared to 74.89 HP ($22.38) with Curation Rewards of 14.72 HP ($4.40) last week's 30 day amounts. This is a slight increase from last week's prior 30 day stats.
I am receiving 0.77 HBD interest for the past 30 days. My goal is to reach 1 HBD per month so I amount about 3/4 of the way there. Adding the 1 HBD to savings each week is helping increase the interest on a weekly basis.
Curation APR
This week my curation APR is slightly higher than last week. I am hoping that I can continue to grow is slowly back into my desired range. My Curation APR moved to 7.30% from 7.06% last week. Seeing the % move up is always a great thing to experience. I want to get my curation APR back up to the range that I target (8%-10%) without impacting my voting on replies and comments.
Hive Engine Tokens
I am receiving 4.79 Hive ($1.49) compared to 6.57 Hive ($1.97) last week over the past 7 days in Hive Engine Tokens from content creation and curation. Not receiving rewards for missing two days of content creation probably played a large role in the decrease.
Over the past 30 days, I have received 23.36 Hive ($7.25) compared to 26.12 Hive ($7.81) for both author and curation rewards last week for the past 30 days.
My top Hive Engine Token holdings over $10 in value are AlIVE, CTP, INDEX, LEO, ALIVEM, POB and BRO . My WAIV value dropped back below $10. Lately I have noticed large price movements in Hive Engine Tokens. Part of this is due to the overall crypto and Hive price movements but I think it is also due to different token holders either adding to their holdings or liquidating their positions.
Either way, it is very difficult to predict which direction a tokens price will head when it is so hard to determine the sentiment of the various stake holders. New projects that look more interesting can cause some stake holders to liquidate their holdings and start afresh in another project.
EVER FORWARD!!!
