Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.

Let’s start with my Hive goals.

Hive & HBD

My current goal is 35k Hive.

Last week I made 450, bringing me to 25549.44 total Hive Power. That’s 73.0% of my goal!

Math time. 35k - 25549.44 gives us 9450.56. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 35.3 Hive needed per day to reach 35k by that point. Not too bad!

BRO & PIMP & CINE

Last week I bought and earned 0.282 BRO, which puts me at 529.64 total or 53.0% of my goal. I’m always tempted to put more money here and get more BRO, but expecially with BTC resting on the edge of a bull run, I just can’t justify it yet. Maybe when the market cools off I’ll move some of my profits (assuming I’m smart enough to take some) into BRO.

I made 402.52 PIMP last week, putting me at 74455.21 — 74.5% of my goal.

And my CINE earnings of 807.409 bring me up to 92,462.370 CINE.

I haven’t bought much LGN since passing 2000, but everytime I see one of @bulliontools’s goal posts mentioning it, I get the urge to buy more. It is still cheap. If we trust Ray, it’s going to go a lot higher, making it a great buy right now.

(I also want to buy more SUB to support @stickupboys, but I didn’t do it yet. I’m at 310 right now, but I hope to make it to 1000 so I can have that 1% ownership)

It’s funny I came across this today. My son came across some cartoon or something that mentioned Beowulf the other day, so I read him some of the poem. I still have my book with translation by Seamus Heaney that I used in a class on Old English, and I liked it so much that I brought it with me to Japan.
