Crypto. Who doesn't want some? Who doesn't have some?
The answer could surprise you. Outside the cryptosphere most of the world trundles on through their daily lives with no knowledge of crypto.
Sure, they may have heard of Bitcoin. Have they heard of anything else? ETH, oh yes, surely ETH? But no. They haven't.
It is a painful fact for those of us that have taken the red pill. Or is it the blue one? I can never remember. That's pills for you ;-)
But, as I was saying. It is a painful fact. The world doesn't care about crypto.
That's right. I will say it again.
The world doesn't care about crypto.
Yet.
Will they ever care?
Of course, blockchain and therefore crypto solves so many problems. But does it?
What is the point of many coins? What do they do? What do they underpin. And when I say that, I mean in reality.
What gives them value beyond the hodl to the moon, amma gonna be rich mentality.
Quite a lot actually. There are projects out there that have the capacity to change things up. Make a genuine difference out there.
On the other hand, there are a lot of projects and coins that are simply artifice, vaporware, created to lure in the unsuspecting and scam them of their hard-won Fiat or BTC.
But how do we go about finding the good ones? That's the rub. It can be hard for a newcomer to the space to recognise which coins and which projects have value. Value beyond the next pump.
It is hard for the average newb not to jump on the shiny shiny and get REKT.
That's where I see the importance of an established crypto blogging site. We can expose the scams. Promote the good. Create guides that help cut through the FUD. With keys and wallets and everything else. It's what I hope to start blogging about.
It's not the easiest to shine a light on the darkness that is crypto to the average person but I hope that I andwe can start to make it easier.
First up. How to find a good coin to invest in.
