Hello Lions!
Here we are at July 2025 LPUD. LPUD stands for LEO POWER UP DAY, it is a day when we all are staking LEO token on HIVE, and called as the LIONS. Leo Power Up Day is a routine event, held on the 15th of every month.
In general, there are two categories in taking participation during the #LPUD. Those two are:
- CUB, for people who do Leo Power Up minimum 50 $LEO on the 15th of the month
- LION, for people who do Leo Power Pp minimum 150 $LEO on the 15th of the month
I have been doing this LEO POWER UP DAY for a straight 12 months and I always take the LION attack... So I always to the 150 LEO POWER UP thing... However today I will do something different. I try to limit myself buying second layer tokens, regarding my real life is not working well, everything is a mess right now.
I have been withdrawing from HIVE at a rate that I dislike it, which is a bit above 800 Hive within the last 2 weeks. It might reach 1000 HIVE later this month, so yeah... I am aware and very worry about that rate. I am really afraid if things get worse as time goes by, I might have to exit this chain... hopefully it would not be at that level.
So let's do what I can do for today... checking the INLEO WALLET first!
We can confirm that I have 57 liquid $LEO and that means I could do the CUB attack today. So let's do this!
I make 55 $LEO POWER UP just now, so I am qualified as the CUB ATTACK participants.
You know, I think during the power up event, the most important thing we should do is taking a participation. You can brag and flex about how big you do the power up, but for me it is about consistency and perseverance. Just keep on grinding!
When we keep adding our staked $LEO or powering up $LEO, there are two definite benefit we can get here.
- Curation Benefit. The higher your Leo Power, You will get more $LEO token from curating people whether you curate a long post or a thread.
- Holding Benefit. The more you have Leo Power, the higher your visibility from Leo Curators.
Because this is a power up post, I will limit my self not to talk too much here. Just do your #LPUD things and HAPPY POWER UP GUYS!!!
GOING PREMIUM
Actually there is another reason why I do not do a good amount of LPUD, or taking a Lion Attack participation, the answer is I am going to the premium membership
The LEO project we have now is the second version, or we call it LEO V2.0. It is a tribe token by characteristic, but actually it is no longer an organic tribe token. There is no new LEO minted and distributed for the curation rewards anymore.
The same thing applies to the LEO Miners too. But we still get the LEO, right? yes we get LEO for taking participation in LEO projects, from curating, staking, delegating our HP to @leo.voter and having some LEO miners... but those $LEO are not newly minted, they are taken from the market.
They are purchased from the buy back mechanism. So the collected LEO is distributed through the old mechanic. This way many believe the token won't be inflationary again, they are deflationary.
So for me, it is not about debating their mechanism here, but I try to support them in a way that do not hurt me a lot. The most feasible way is not about buying a lot of LEO then stake them... Well it is good and helpful, but definitely will hurt my wallets LoL
I will do the most basic that align with the mechanism, which is going PREMIUM. I see having Inleo Premium Account Membership is the way how you could support this project, because literally you give them fund, $10 which I believe won't make you lose your house from it, and they will use it to buy back the LEO from the market.
Those LEO will be distributed back to all INLEO users and participants, so it is a good take and give transaction, support each other. But of course, it is far from perfect and always do your own research too.
