It is another day full of surprises. This time the surprise happens to be positive. Actually, very positive, although some might argue that it wasn't surprise at all. Bitcoin has smashed through another important psychological barrier and it is now trading over 30000 US$.
It would probably take some time for human psychology to adapt to this new reality. While reading posts about recent Croatian earthquake in social media, I have noticed that the experts (or at least those who claim to be experts) on the subject claim that humans have serious problems comprehending logarithms instead of common algebra. So, just like the difference between 5.2 earthquake on Richter scale and 6.4 earthquake on Richter scale doesn't look much on paper, in reality (and to those unfortunate to experience both) it is indescribably larger. It is safe to assume that difference between 30000 US$ Bitcoin and 20000 US$ Bitcoin could provide similar phenomenon.
And, while everyone talks about continuance of the Bitcoin's Big Push, there are other stories happening today. First, there is a major FUD about Bittrex announcing delisting of Monero, Zcash and DASH. It is probably the continuation of earlier FUD about Mnuchin's US Treasury Department issuing new crypto-hostile regulation and the exchanges having all reasons to believe that the privacy coins will be the main target. In the end of the day, this story probably won't have any long-lasting effect (and the Bitcoin, of course, doesn't care). Keeping privacy coins on soon-to-be-regulated exchanges wasn't good idea in the first place.
Another interesting story is massive Libry Credits (LBC) pump which not only brought smiles on holders of those holding that coins, but also made some people in cryptosphere ask questions about what fundamentals were behind this price moves. The mostly likely scenario is in LBC being more-or-less airdropped and providing some sort of meager, but dependable passive income to all those watching videos on Libry. Idea of having substitute for Youtube which is not only prone to censorship, but also allowing viewers to actually earn something, is one of those concepts that can expect to find fertile ground in these times.
