INCOME is a relatively small SYNERGY fund, which means we partner together with blockchain participants for fun and profit! This is a completely entertainment based concept, there are no promises (only my reputation) and the only reason there are profits is because profits are fun!
In the previous update we looked at the fund positions, in this update, we are going to look at all different places the money goes.
Daily Divvies
You can check out @ecoinstats daily post for this, 34 holders receive divvies daily.
Based on a comment I received, it might be time soon to expand the divvies program. Currently, you need more than 10 INCOME to get some reasonable chance to receive divvies daily, as there are now more holders than ever - in fact the list of users with at least 10 INCOME now goes to the second page of the richlist.
Roadmap item 1 - figure out a way to expand divvies.
I will be working on this, mentally at first and then digitally. Stay tuned for more updates on how we can reach more users as well as reward larger holders for holding more.
Faucet
Did you know that we run a HP faucet for new users? Users can comment on the daily post and if they don't have a lot of HP, can share in the daily power up of 1 HP. If there are three users, thats 0.333 HP each, for example.
These users can also have their most recent posts featured in the next issue, this serves to give us some content to showcase, allow new users to find each other, as well as tagging them to comment again and keep using the faucet.
Roadmap item #2 - Increase Faucet reach and expand its size.
There are still days when nobody claims the faucet. This is probably normal, except that there are thousands of new splinterlands players that need this HP. I will be working on some ideas to expand the reach and knowledge of this faucet before also adding in some more daily HIVE, likely increasing it to 2 HP per day.
dCity Digest
This is one of my favorite things that we developed, because it shows off so nicely the win-win-win-win model of the SYNERGY fund.
Twice per week we run a curation digest called the dCity Digest.
On this report we share 5% beneficiary with @archon-gov as well as 5% with @dcityrewards. We nominate the authors of the post for Hive SBI, and include @dcitygame in this transaction as well. These are compounding functions that make each of these partner projects stronger, and incentivize socialization using HIVE.
Roadmap item # 3 - Update dCity digest intro and beneficiaries.
There have been many great guides lately, especially by @nervi but also my starter cities post which I find myself sharing a lot. The intro needs an update with better information and presentation.

I also think we can comfortably increase the beneficiary for the dCity reward pool to 10%.
Updates on Positioning
We do a lot of things, and many of them get a post. When I got BeeSwap listed on DappRadar, its because these things all connect, and helping them helps me, and our fund. By learning more about DappRadar I can help more projects in the future as well.
Apart from supporting the projects, I also buy and sell tokens. Sometimes I make posts about this, but mostly I don't. All trades are fully visible on the blockchain, but I also feel that not every trade deserves a post.
Because much of the portfolio is medium and long term, I also don't like to update the ABV daily. The previous ABV of 7.485 stands (in terms of fund obligations) until I update it again. That said, I would like to commit to updating the ABV at least every 6 months.
Roadmap item #4 - 6 month (maximum) validity for ABV numbers
As you know may remember, our fund can only issue new tokens at a value equal to or greater than the ABV number. As I still hold about 76% of the fund, there hasn't come up a very good reason to even consider issuing more tokens yet. But there is an opportunity coming up with the ECOBANK project, and I am considering personally placing some of my personal stake in that project into the fund in exchange for INCOME tokens.
This process allows our fund to expand a bit more in size and I think the ECOBANK project will be a perfect time to do it. If I haven't said it officially before, INCOME token holders will receive an ECOBANK token airdrop, I am still working out the details but I will likely exclude myself, which means there will be an airdrop multiplier on accounts that aren't mine base on the % of the fund that I personally hold.
Power up HIVE!
Our medium term strategy includes that we continue to power up hive. We have recently hit 25,000 HP in the FUND!
I target 800 Hive liquid on the fund account, we pay out liquid hive and do have some sources to receive in liquid hive (private hp delegation, various dcity rewards, UTOPIS rewards), plus I have been converting some Swap.Hive. When we get 100 or more above 800, I power up the difference.
Porfolio updates
We also continue to grow our HIVE SBI holdings by converting what is left on STEEM.
One of the oldest members of the fund, Hive SBI is one of the best ways to reward accounts because it incentivizes long term behavior. HIVE SBI units are a way of curating users in methods far superior to immediate cash payments, in our humble opinion.
As part of the team, I am working together behind the scenes on some pretty cool updates for the project as well.
Liquidity on the INCOME markets
The fund does not hold any INCOME tokens. I bought them and I hold them in my personal portfolio, and I hold most of them. Because this is an entertainment product, there is really no reason that they need to trade for the ABV, but I have been working up the market to bring the tokens more in line with the assets backing them.
The way I do this is by offering buybacks, I am not a perfect liquidity provider in this sense, since when I need tokens to buy other tokens sometimes I clip from here. But I am always willing to buy my own token! Many members talk to me first before selling, and I can provide more liquidity.
I am also selling 1000 tokens right now, which is 10% of the fund, which would bring my share of the fund down to 66%
Owning my INCOME token does not guarantee you or your project my time, help, upvote or attention, but I genuinely believe in what we are doing on this blockchain, and I want to help people succeed, and succeed myself in the process, which then leads to the projects I'm involved in succeeding even more.
