Hello Everyone,
The second round of the SPI subscription plan is closing down.
The idea of the plan was to take advantage of the recurring payments option in Hive and other front end wallets. This was an easy way of providing an extra benefit to members of Saturday Savers Club - the opportunity to buy SPI on a budget over a period of time.
The first round worked very well with 300 SPI distributed to eight accounts. The second round started off well but in the past few weeks there have been problems with the recurring payments feature not working properly.
This has increased the amount of checking and book keeping that has had to be done and means the scheme isn't tenable any more - too many headaches!
The second round has still distributed over 115 SPI in the time its been running, so 415 SPI have been shared out, some to new holders.
The last scheduled SPI issue was last week - a day late due to problems on Hive Engine. Since then there was one back issue for a late subscription received this week.
As we are closing the scheme, equivalent SPI has been issued to accounts for subscriptions received since the last scheduled issue.
Please cancel your recurring payment!

Many thanks to everyone who took part in the experiment to use the recurring payments feature.
There are SPI listed on Hive-Engine at less than 5.25 HIVE, so you could pick up a bargain for your subscription! Or list a regular buy order to continue to collect SPI.
