Talking about how content creators should or should not be rewarded within Hive is a rather delicate and subjective topic.
Since within the blockchain you will find all types of content, because freedom directs that very thing, a space in which everyone can give their opinion and upload what they want.
Lately, there has been talk of changing or providing alternatives to the reward pool in Hive, and this is my opinion regarding that topic discussed in Town Hall #3.
Hive is a “consolidated” blockchain in many ways, modifying or eliminating the reward pool would practically be starting from 0 and that is difficult even for ourselves to learn again, and it would also be eliminating the main income of many users, However, you could place filters, memberships and incorporate what the InLeo team is doing with respect to advertising to make money. In this way we could guarantee quality of content, and generate traffic, because although what we want is that there may be more investors who believe in Hive as a safe investment option, creators of quality content and more people that join value, or that migrate from web2 to web3.
We achieve this through dissemination, campaigns and education on the web3, because for a person to lose the fear caused by ignorance, they must be given a dose of education. An assertive education that encourages exploration, that the public says...
—make money producing content, can I also be a technology expert, or have the freedom to be the owner of my time without spending all day in an office? I want to know more!
Let us remember that most people see the world of cryptocurrencies and technology as something unattainable or very complicated, when that is not the case at all. So, to attract new users we must start with assertive education.
For Hive to be maintained over time, I think that filters are necessary, for that there are community rules and it is great, although the curation criteria already depend on each whale or project. But I have seen publications of a shadow or a meaningless photo with only one word in the description and in my opinion that has no value, because they are people who come to Hive thinking that the money is free, they do not come with the idea of creating but of farming.
How could we know if content is quality, well, it is published in a community with its respective niche, good spelling, quality photos (and no, you don't necessarily have to have the latest iPhone for that), interaction with other users, etc.
In addition to the rewards pool, as I said before, you could include ads that generate profits, memberships that give benefits (imagine it like a gym, you can exercise from home, but in the gym there are tools that will make you see results faster, since it depends on you), and the promotion of the blockchain in each sector we are in to bring more investors, that will make the currency gain more value, we do not want to scare away the whales with internal conflicts but rather generate a comfortable environment, easy to understand where they want to invest.
And finally, I think that for a user to generate more tangible value for Hive and be better rewarded, they must do field work, make web3 also step on the cement, we cannot just be in front of a computer waiting for everything Whether it is done or arrives alone, it applies to everything in life. If we want Hive to go far and grow, we must take it out, make it known, and this is encouraged through meetups, campaigns, contests, etc. that encourage users to invite others. I give a personal example, and let's not forget the past Hive's Top Model 2023, many found it incredible and there were prizes that were sponsored by whales and external people who believed in the idea, if It was possible with a fashion contest where women from all over the world participated, it can also be done with Hive and that work must be rewarded because commitment is being demonstrated inside and outside the blockchain.

Hablar de la forma en cómo se deben recompensar o no los creadores de contenido dentro de Hive, es un tema bastante delicado y subjetivo.
Puesto que dentro de la blockchain encontrarás todo tipo de contenido, porque la libertad encamina eso mismo, un espacio en el que todos puedan dar su opinión y subir lo que quieran.
Últimamente, se ha hablado de cambiar o dar alternativas al pozo de recompensas en Hive, y esta es mi opinión referente a ese tema debatido en el Town Hall #3.
Hive es una blockchain “consolidada” en muchos sentidos, modificar o eliminar el pozo de recompensas sería prácticamente empezar desde 0 y eso es complicado hasta para nosotros mismos de aprender nuevamente, y también sería eliminar el ingreso principal de muchos usuarios, sin embargo, se pudieran colocar filtros, membresías e incorporar lo que está haciendo el equipo de InLeo con respecto a las publicidades para ganar dinero. De esta manera podríamos garantizar calidad de contenido, y hacer tráfico, porque si bien lo que se quiere es, que haya quizás más inversores que crean en Hive como una opción segura de inversión, creadores de contenido de calidad y más personas que se unan de valor, o que migren de web2 a web3.
Esto lo logramos a través de la difusión, campañas y educación de la web3, porque para que una persona pierda el miedo que ocasiona la ignorancia se le debe dar una dosis de educación. Una educación asertiva que incentive a la exploración, que ese público diga…
—¿ganar dinero produciendo contenido, puedo también ser un experto en tecnología, o tener la libertad de ser dueño de mi tiempo sin estar todo el día en una oficina? ¡Quiero saber más!
Recordemos que la mayoría de las personas ven el mundo de las criptomonedas y la tecnología como algo inalcanzable o muy complicado, cuando no es así del todo. Entonces, para atraer nuevos usuarios debemos empezar por la educación asertiva.
Para que Hive se mantenga en el tiempo, yo opino, que los filtros sí son necesarios, para eso existen reglas de comunidades y es genial, aunque el criterío de curación ya depende de cada ballena o proyecto. Pero yo he visto publicaciones de una sombra o una foto sin sentido con solo una palabra en la descripción y en mi parecer eso no tiene valor alguno, porque son personas que vienen a Hive pensando que el dinero es gratis, no vienen con la idea de crear sino de farmear.
Cómo podríamos saber si un contenido es de calidad, pues, está publicado en una comunidad con su respectivo nicho, buena ortografía, fotos de calidad (y no, no necesariamente debes tener el último iPhone para eso), interacción con otros usuarios, etc.
Además de la piscina de recompensas, como dije anteriormente, se podrían incluir anuncios que generen ganancias, membresías que den beneficios (imagínalo como un gym, puedes hacer ejercicio desde casa, pero en el gym hay herramientas que te harán ver resultados más rápido, ya depende de ti), y la promoción de la blockchain en cada sector en el que estemos para traer más inversores, eso hará que la moneda agarre más valor, no queremos espantar a las ballenas con conflictos internos sino generar un ambiente cómodo, fácil de entender donde quieran invertir.
Y finalmente, pienso que para que un usuario genere más valor tangible para Hive y ser mejor recompensado, debe hacer trabajo de campo, hacer que la web3 también pise el cemento, no podemos solo estar frente a un computador esperando que todo se haga o llegue solo, aplica para todo en la vida. Si queremos que Hive llegue lejos y crezca, debemos sacarlo, darlo a conocer, y esto se fomenta a través de meetups, campañas, concursos, etc que fomenten a los usuarios a invitar a otros. Pongo un ejemplo personal, y es que no nos olvidemos del pasado Hive´s Top Model 2023, a muchos les pareció increíble y se contó con premios que fueron patrocinados por ballenas y personas externas que creyeron en la idea, si se pudo con un concurso de moda donde participaron mujeres de todo el mundo, también se puede con Hive y ese trabajo debe ser recompensado porque se está demostrando compromiso dentro y fuera de la blockchain.
