Taking a look around, I can't help but notice a certain amount of hand-wringing when it comes to crypto. From the wild price swings involving your favorite token, to the government "watchdogs" sticking their noses into our hardware wallets like digital perverts with a bicycle-seat-sniffing fetish.
And it doesn't end there. It seems that everything in the world is being done to undermine support for the future of cryptocurrency, so much so, that you'd almost think it was planned to keep things just the way they are. But we all know that's going to fail and fail hard. All we have to do is just take a look back...
Remember when Amazon sold books? My first purchase online was of the book 85 days: The Last Campaign of Robert Kennedy. What I remember most was the chilling sense of alarm from others around me who thought I would lose my money buying things on the internet. What they didn't realize was that this was the wave of the future and nothing was going to stop it.
Those who got it, get it, those who don't, won't.
The naysayers were also unable to scare me away from Bitcoin, even after the price cratered from $100. The utility of the underlying blockchain technology as a distributed ledger wasn't going away anytime soon. The warnings about strong headwinds and swirling controversies were heard, then pushed aside by those with the vision to be able to look past the FUD and see clearly.
Staying calm, reasoned and focused, is what allows me to weather all of the noise currently buzzing around like a bees nest. This crypto-ship is on course and sailing true north. Anyone that tries to stop us can walk the plank. While there may be some rough seas ahead, there's nothing that a few course corrections can't fix to continue our journey.
