Hello Hive Fam!

Leo is a project on the Hive blockchain platform. I'm aware of this because I got referred through this project, and I have been using its user interface since the beginning. I was not aware that the project had its own token as well, but after joining, I learned about it. It is listed in the internal marketplace of Hive, and this internal marketplace is called Hive Engine.
This project has been working since 2019, and now they have launched leo 2.0, which seems to bring more value. They have the front end through the URL inleo.io, and its cool that we can earn leo tokens if blogs are posted by this front end. We earn usual rewards in the form of HIVE/HP and HBD, but on top of that, we can also earn the leo tokens. The project also rewards LEO tokens to HP delegators, and this is a way that they are increasing the inflation because the supply of tokens is increasing.
With Leo two point zero, they are making a bigger change to their model as they have moved it from the inflationary side to a deflationary buy-back model. My understanding is not so vast on this topic, but as far as I understand then the reward distribution will happen based on whatever buyback happens for the token. It's like if more people buy the token, then the bigger reward will be distributed among the Leo stakeholders, and if the buyback is small, then the distribution will also be lower.
This sounds great because this will not be adding any new tokens to the circulating supply, and if this model stays sustainable, then trust me, it is going to add more value to the token. People who are holding the LEO token will be happy if this model is successful because over the period of time, we can expect more value appreciation on the token, and it is because the demand will rise in the market.
They have Leo decks, which is their decentralised exchange protocol, and they have multiple coins listed there for swaps. I can see that some sort of airdrop is also going on, and it is phase one in Leodex, but I don't know how it works because I have never been through this. I will try to understand and learn more about it, but maybe this is for the people who have been part of the project for a long time.
INLEO's Rewards Pool (as you'll see below) is transitioning from an inflationary model to a deflationary, buyback-based model. The rewards pool has been a great way to distribute our token to a wide array of hodlers for 6 years. Now it's time to shut off the inflation forever and focus on accruing value to the LEO Token by growing LeoDex Volumes.
Once again, as I said that I will try to learn more about it, and we'll try to find out if there is any good article where I can read more about it, or if some sort of tutorial is available. I don't think I am eligible for the airdrop because I have never connected this Leo decks protocol through my wallet, but people who did in the past should check what airdrop they are going to get.
In a nutshell this is great for the Leo project as well as for the people who are part of it because if things go well then with Leo 2.0 the value proposition is going to be nice and community is going to be happy since they will get better benefits and profitability on the investments that they have done on the project. Let's hope for the best.
