In a statement published through Binance's official blog the CEO of the exchange, Changpeng Zhao, made some revelations in the framework of the global balance sheet presented by the company, but perhaps one of the most important data he shared was the fact that the platform has more than 120 million users worldwide.
The revelation came at a time when Zhao spoke about the current state of the market, citing the crypto winter affecting the sector, and highlighting that despite adverse situations Binance has managed to maintain a favorable pace in its growth throughout this 2022.
The figures shared by Zhao further complement the exchange's available information on CoinMarketCap, where it is listed as the exchange platform that ranks first in terms of daily trading volume.
The entity currently moves around USD $8.4 billion a day, a figure that exceeds seven times the values capitalized by Coinbase, its closest competitor, which only accounts for just over USD $1.056 billion.
