In today's article, we will teach you how to use an important protocol in DeFi, developed from the needs of projects to find more sustainable mechanisms to attract liquidity to their tokens and Treasures.

Tokemak is a DeFi protocol with a similar proposition to Olympus DAO: to offer DAOs a tool that allows them to acquire their own liquidity. This need stems from critical thinking about liquidity mining programs offered to yield farmers: the costs of distributing rewards for pool liquidity end up being greater than the profits made from trading the tokens.
In addition, the lack of sustainability in the liquidity of the pools is a critical factor. The distribution of rewards in the pools is inversely proportional to the number of new participants. In other words: the greater the number of liquidity providers, the lower the income paid to yield farmers. This fact ends up causing a habitual migration of capital between protocols, with the incessant search for the best profitability opportunities and, consequently, the lack of sustainability in the liquidity attracted by DeFi projects. It is worth mentioning that this problem is shared in all fields of the market: DEXes, lending protocols and P2E games.
With an eye on this demand for tools to solve this problem, Tokemak came up with its native solution. Building on the Reactors concept, the protocol has developed its own mechanism to provide protocols with a means to attract liquidity to their token in a sustainable manner. Unlike a conventional pool, Reactors balance rewards based on the liquidity of the tokens: the lower the capital in the pool, the higher the incentives. Thus, Yield Farmers will balance Reactor's liquidity and benefit Tokemak's associated DAOs.

How to get passive earnings with FOX in Tokemak ☢️
- Access the website of Tokemak
Tokemak has different types of pools that liquidity providers can participate in. TOKE-ETH funds are **conventional, which means that you will have to deposit 50/50 in Sushiswap and/or Uniswap to get TOKE rewards.
The TOKE pool, on the other hand, consists of a particular Tokemak mechanism: the liquidity providers in the protocol are called Liquidity Directors (LDs). Its responsibility in the protocol is to indicate the meaning of the liquidity of the tokens, an activity that it carries out using the voting power of each one of them, through TOKE, the native token of Tokemak.
Voting is not optional, but mandatory for Liquidity Directors. If they do not fulfill their function, the TOKE rewards will not be distributed in the funds where you deposit your capital.
To vote, it's simple:
- Click the "Participate and Vote" button in the TOKE group.
- Enter the amount of TOKE you want to deposit and click "Stake TOKE". A fee will be charged for the use of the Tokemak smart contract and its capital will be deposited in the TOKE pool.
If you wish to withdraw the tokens deposited in the pool, you must request the withdrawal, which will be available after the end of the Cycle. Unlike many protocols in DeFi, Tokemak imposes a minimum period in which the user must keep their capital deposited in the pool. This measure is intended to fend off yield farmers looking to absorb yields in a short period of time. Cycles are weekly, starting Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. from Brazil - .
This concept applies to the TOKE pool and Reactors. Conventional TOKE-ETH pools work similarly to others on the market, with rewards being withdrawn and capital deposited at any time.
After depositing your TOKE, you will be awarded a number of votes that will be used to direct liquidity to Reactors in Tokemak. There is a range of options, with more than 15 different types.
Among them is the ShapeShift DAO Reactor 🦊
Analyzing the image above, the user has two options:
- Deposit your TOKEs in the TOKE pool and delegate votes to Reactor, getting 46% p.a. in TOKE
- Deposit FOX in the Reactor and receive incentives of 20% p.a. on TOUCH.
Remember: the rewards given are not fixed. According to the capital inflow into the pool, the returns between FOX and TOKE will be balanced until a breakeven point is reached. There is currently $17.9 million in FOX and $1.9 million in TOKE.
- If you choose to vote instead of depositing FOX tokens, simply enter the number of votes to be allocated and click "Submit Vote". There will be no cost in the assignment, thanks to the gasless system implemented by Tokemak.
- However, if you see that the FOX deposit on Tokemak is more sustainable and profitable, click on "Deposit FOX", enter the desired amount and stake the tokens on the Reactor.
The logic here is similar to that practiced in the TOKE pool: withdrawals are only allowed at the end of each cycle, as are TOKE rewards distributed to liquidity providers.
Tokemak has several built-in mechanisms to provide sustainable liquidity to DAOs. Balancing the interests of liquidity providers and the future of DAOs, the protocol constantly develops new ideas to benefit both parties.

Con la vista puesta en esta demanda de herramientas para resolver este problema, Tokemak ideó su solución nativa. Sobre la base del concepto Reactors, el protocolo ha desarrollado su propio mecanismo para proporcionar protocolos con un medio para atraer liquidez a su token de manera sostenible. - Ingrese la cantidad de TOKE que desea depositar y haga clic en "Stake TOKE". Se cobrará una tarifa por el uso del contrato inteligente Tokemak y su capital se depositará en el grupo TOKE.
Si deseas retirar los tokens depositados en el pool, deberás solicitar el retiro, el cual estará disponible luego de finalizado el Ciclo. A diferencia de muchos protocolos en DeFi, Tokemak impone un período mínimo en el que el usuario debe mantener su capital depositado en el pool. Esta medida tiene como objetivo defenderse de los agricultores de rendimiento que buscan absorber los rendimientos en un corto período de tiempo. Este concepto se aplica al pool de TOKE y Reactores. Los pools de TOKE-ETH convencionales funcionan de manera similar a otros en el mercado, con retiro de recompensas y depósito de capital en cualquier momento.
Después de depositar sus TOKE, se le otorgará una cantidad de votos que se utilizarán para dirigir la liquidez a los Reactores en Tokemak. Hay una gama de opciones, con más de 15 tipos diferentes.

- Deposita tus TOKEs en el pool de TOKEs y delega votos al Reactor, obteniendo un 46% p.a. en TOKE
- Depositar FOX en el Reactor y recibir incentivos del 20% p.a. en TOQUE.
Recuerde: las recompensas otorgadas no son fijas. De acuerdo con la entrada de capital en el pool, los rendimientos entre FOX y TOKE se equilibrarán hasta alcanzar un punto de equilibrio. En este momento hay 17,9 millones de dólares en FOX y 1,9 millones de dólares en TOKE.
- Si elige votar en lugar de depositar tokens FOX, simplemente ingrese la cantidad de votos que se asignarán y haga clic en "Enviar voto". No habrá coste en la asignación, gracias al sistema gasless implantado por Tokemak.
- Sin embargo, si ve que el depósito FOX en Tokemak es más sostenible y rentable, haga clic en "Depositar FOX", ingrese la cantidad deseada y apueste los tokens en el Reactor.
La lógica aquí es similar a la practicada en el grupo TOKE: los retiros solo se permiten al final de cada ciclo, al igual que las recompensas TOKE distribuidas a los proveedores de liquidez.
Tokemak tiene varios mecanismos integrados para proporcionar liquidez sostenible a las DAO. Equilibrando los intereses de los proveedores de liquidez y el futuro de las DAO, el protocolo desarrolla constantemente nuevas ideas para beneficiar a ambas partes.
