Every week Binance launches a fun and educational activity. This is Word of the Day (WOTD) where we can learn more about cryptocurrencies, put our knowledge to the test and earn Binance Points, which we can redeem for cryptocurrencies in the Rewards Portal.

Cada semana se inicia en Binance una actividad por demás divertida y educativa. Se trata de La Palabra del Día (WOTD) en la que podemos aprender mucho mas sobre criptomonedas, poner nuestros conocimientos a prueba y así ganar parte de los Puntos Binance, los cuales podremos canjear por criptomonedas en el Portal de recompensas.

How does the Word of the Day work?

To participate in this interesting game, you must be a verified Binance user. Each user can play up to two games per day of The Word of the Day (WOTD) in which we test our knowledge on the selected topic for each week. All those who get a total of five correct answers during the activity period will be eligible to receive a fair share of the Binance points pool.

¿Como Funciona La Palabra del Día?

Para participar en este interesante juego, se requiere ser un usuario verificado de Binance. Cada usuario puede jugar hasta dos partidas diarias de La Palabra del Dia (WOTD) en el cual se ponen a prueba nuestros conocimientos sobre el tema seleccionado para cada semana. Todos aquellos que obtengan un total de cinco respuestas correctas durante el periodo de la actividad serán elegibles para recibir una parte equitativa del pool de puntos de Binance.

How to Play the Word of the Day.

Once you are in the game section, you will be shown a brief explanation of how the game works. After clicking on the UNDERSTANDING button you will be shown the panel where you can make up to six attempts to discover the Word of the Day.

You must write one letter in each box corresponding to the word chosen according to the clue given, using the virtual keyboard and when you press ENTER you will be shown the result of your word entered.

The legend to understand the result of each attempt is as follows:

Each letter highlighted with the color GREEN, indicates that the letter belongs to the word and is in the correct position.
Each letter highlighted with the color ORANGE indicates that the letter belongs to the word, but it is not in the correct position.
Each letter that does not have any color indicates that they do not belong to the word of the day and therefore, you should discard them for your next attempt.

This means that if the word you enter is all in green color, it means that you have guessed the Word of the Day, Congratulations!.

Como Jugar la Palabra del Día.

Una vez te encuentres en la sección del juego, se te mostrara una breve explicación de como funciona el mismo. Luego de dar click en el botón ENTENDIDO se te mostrara el panel donde podrás realizar hasta seis intentos para descubrir La Palabra del Dia.

Debes escribir una letra en cada recuadro que correspondan a la palabra elegida según la pista dada, usando el teclado virtual y al presionar ENTER se te mostrara el resultado de tu palabra introducida.

La leyenda para entender el resultado de cada intento es el siguiente:

Cada letra resaltada con el color VERDE, indica que la letra pertenece a la palabra y se encuentra en la posición correcta.

Cada letra resaltada con el color NARANJA indica que la letra pertenece a la palabra, pero no se encuentra en la posición que le corresponde.

Cada letra que no tiene ningún color, indica que no pertenecen a la palabra del dia y por lo tanto, deberías descartarlas para tu siguiente intento.

Esto quiere decir que si la palabra que introduces se coloca toda en color verde, significa que has acertado con la Palabra del Día, ¡Felicidades!.

Get more opportunities

After matching the Word of the Day, you will have the opportunity to get a second round for the same day. To do so, click on "Get A New Word”, share the article selected for that round on any of your social networks and when someone clicks on that link, you will automatically receive a second round. Each user can only participate in two opportunities each day to discover the word.

Consigue mas oportunidades

Después de acertar la Palabra del Día, tendrás la oportunidad de obtener una segunda ronda para el mismo día. Para ello, haces clic en "Obtener Una Nueva Palabra", compartes el articulo seleccionado para esa ronda en cualquiera de tus redes sociales y cuando alguna persona haga clic en dicho enlace, recibirás automáticamente una segunda ronda. Cada usuario solo puede participar en dos oportunidades cada día, para descubrir la palabra.

Important considerations about the game.

Each week a new round starts for The Word of the Day and by matching five times for that week, you receive Binance Points that you can redeem for cryptocurrencies in the rewards portal. It is important to read the article selected for each round, as it will allow us to obtain new words related to the clue presented to us in the game.

The amount of letters for each word varies every day, so it is important to keep the words that were not correct, but that gave us clues according to the color guide. It is possible that those same words will be correct in the following days.
