After the tough times comes the crazy times. It is baffling to see the numbers show significant changes in a short span of time. Have we officially entered the alt season? How long will it take before the bubbles deflate? Some say that we are just at the beginning of a major rally. While some say that we have reached the extent of the bubble and it won't take long before the rally starts dwindling.
In times likes, many will have their opinion about the current events and the probable future of crypto.
For whatever the reasons of their predictions or so-called analysis, it is always best to stick to a project that has the fundamentals right and one that has a clear plan of action. One of the tokens that I have been talking about in my post this past few weeks is Akash Network ($AKT). Not trying to shill this token, in fact, I'm still learning more about it. Funny thing is that every time I peel every layer of its application, the more I become more convinced that this is the project bound for success.
I'm racking my brain on the current trend of $AKT (Akash Network) in the recent days. This is the token that grew its market cap from 22M to 50M in a span of a week.
In my post yesterday, I reported that my $AKT investment grew to about 149% in a span of 2 weeks. And with the price pump in the past 24 hours, the dollar value of my $AKT token holdings grew by another 32%, effectively growing my investment to a total of 181% in 15 days.
Some would say, "I'm late to the party since the token price already grew by x5."
I can't really tell what the future holds however, there are indications that tell me that we are still considered early in this trend. The token is practically very young considering that the IEO only happened 3 months ago. There's still a huge space for it to grow in terms of liquidity and price.
The current supply is only about 27% and it will take about 2-3 years to grow the supply by x2.
The Mainnet 2 is about to launch this coming Feb 2021 and as soon it takes off the cloud computing marketplace will also be initiated. It will be a huge turning point for the project and it will definitely accelerate the adoption of the Akash Network. Cloud providers & developers will definitely dig this aspect of Akash.
If the cloud marketplace will turn out to be as per the committed product features then it will revolutionize how we utilize our computer's resources and the way we rely on cloud compute services. I can see the great potential of this technology in the near future.
Aside from that, it will also bring prosperity to the $AKT stakes. Just think of the earning potential from the Subsidy Pool (Inflation) and the Transaction Fees generated from the activity of cloud providers and the buyers. It's going to be the ultimate money-making machine in the world of crypto.
These are the things that I'm looking forward to in the coming weeks or months.
