Newer users of Hive may not be aware of the awesome stats, tracking and analytics tool we have and can use for free for our Hive accounts. It's called HiveStats.io, it's created by the Leofinance team, and just received a major upgrade.
Compared to the previous version, it has the dark mode which can be selected at the top right, as a toggle between dark and light. That was highly requested and it's a default for me as well.
Also on the top bar one can see links to all the apps of the Leofinance family and a FAQ. Also as something new compared to the older version, one can add multiple accounts and switch between them.
Below the top bar one can see a widget with 15 manually curated posts on Leofinance.
This is a tool we can use to check out our goals progress for example, if we have goals related to HIVE, Hive Engine tokens and from this version HBD as well.
We can also use it to see rewards already received as an author or curator (or witness if it applies - this must be new in this version as well) broken down into into overall, last 30, 7 or daily rewards for the last week. We can also see the overall curation APR for our account. Personally, I'd find the curation APR for the last 30 days more relevant (or just as relevant), so this is something I'd like to see going forward.
There is also a widget with your some profile info, on the left side (or above, depending where you see it) of the rewards received:
Note that the blue vote value percent is a slider and you can slide it to a different position to check your vote value in that situation.
After that follow other general stats about your account, a section with current prices for HIVE, HBD, CUB and LEO and APYs for CUB kingdom and bLEO-BNB farm on CubFinance. This is also new as far as I know.
You can also delegate HIVE POWER to @leo.voter for a 16% APY paid as LEO and that is reminded to users of HiveStats.
We even have a wallet section where you can do all the base operations with your HIVE, HBD and HIVE POWER. I haven't remarked it in the previous version either, but maybe I wasn't paying attention, as I generally went directly to want interested me.
And now starts the Analytics page, with charts of the account growth and total earned in USD over 7 or 30 days as the main attraction for many people:
Here I remarked a small bug. I don't have a power down active for the account @gadrian-sp, from which the screenshot is taken. I do have one for @gadrian, and at every power down HIVE is rerouted to @gadrian-sp. Amount on this chart is consistent to that, so that must be what is picked up, but it's not an actual power down on gadrian-sp, it is a "received power down", if I can say that.
After the Analytics, follow two other interesting sections, the ones about pending rewards for author and then, curation. Note that sections can be hidden or showed from the right side.
Another section that underwent serious updates is the one for operations. I wonder if in the future premium version maybe, we could go back more than 7 days searching for certain ops. And obviously that means a search for ops feature needs to developed in this case.
The final 3 sections are related to Hive-Engine. You can see the tokens you currently have, your received rewards (broken down the same way as for HIVE/HBD) and expressed in both HIVE and USD, and finally the operations section, much like the one for Hive.
What else I'd like to see is links to each section somewhere near the top. Otherwise scrolling down through them is not a very good experience, especially if all sections are open. I like that section statuses (open or close) are saved between sessions.
One more thing that is very important to notice is that the design is mobile friendly, sections are not fixed in dimensions or positions, but flow and fit naturally, adapting to the browser's window size (implicitly for mobile).
I didn't want to start my review with a bug, but I noticed it right away:
The HIVE POWER in the parenthesis is wrong. For @gadrian it's "almost" accurate if we count in the delegation from @gadrian-sp, but still about 200-300 off compared to other wallets. For @gadrian-sp it's completely off, I wish I had double my HP, I would have already reached my yearly HIVE goal. :)
The bugs noticed are minor, and I love the new interface, the speed at which it operates, the responsive design, dark mode and with the exception of the requests I had, I'm really happy with it. Let's see what else the hivemind comes up with. :)
