It becomes clearer to me that keeping bitcoin in the red at the end of April, as I wanted too, is definitely a target for the realization of which some forces have been mobilized.
To achieve this goal, I believe many tricks are used to make the weak hands sell. The most common of them is spreading of FUD.
It is my strong opinion that the majority of investors in the crypto-sphere are weak hands. Not the biggest, but the majority. And they are easy to manipulate and I believe quite a few years will come before that will improve.
Because, with every new and bigger wave of adoption, more investors come lacking strong convictions, basic understanding of crypto or even investing in general. And they are the perfect target.
The more time one spends in crypto markets, the less likely it is to be affected by regular FUD. But learning often comes the hard way, from your share of painful mistakes.
Anyway, this uneducated mass in the ropes of crypto is currently being used to feed the FUD while they sell and to keep bitcoin in the red.
Does the end justify the means? Hard to justify these tactics, but to reach the end goal someone has to sell to not allow buy pressure to rise before the end of April and turn this month into a green one. Who is going to sell? The strong hands, the corporations, the miners? I'd say the strong hands and the corporations are probably on the buying side in the order books. Miners probably do their share of selling, but recently some of them turned into long term holders.
Even so, with all the FUD, it's going to be a hard target to keep. There are still enough days in April and buy pressure is building up for bitcoin.
I wouldn't be surprised if one or two additional FUD topics become viral before the end of month. It costs way less to spread the FUD and scare away retail buyers, than it is to sell a higher amount of your precious crypto bags to influence price.
After an entire month of being kept under the lid, I expect bitcoin - and crypto in general - to give us plenty of fireworks in May.
