I thought this would be as good of a day as any other to write something about the RisingStar game.
The game has two very important qualities, in my opinion:
- it takes little time to manage your account (yes, only one!) - I don't think at any time it takes me more than 3-10m per day to manage my account (including assets)
- it has been around for a good while, people keep playing it, and the game economy hasn't collapsed even though it had its ups and downs
I probably don't play it optimally. But I set a strategy and stick with it, with minimal updates for a while.
Until not so long ago, I did the following:
- played my missions daily (first the RisingStar Millionaire mission, to not forget about it)
- I added my STARBITS from my RS Millionaire missions and bought packs with them when I had enough to buy 12 packs
- in the meantime, I kept STARBITS in a diesel pool with PIZZA, to earn something passively
- after each 12-pack purchase I also sold 10000 STARBITS to SWAP.HIVE (and that's my ongoing profit taking approach in this case)
- with the STARBITS from my other missions I played the Music Promoter to get STARPRO - my target was to have enough STARPRO to earn the 10% bonus on the RS Millionaire mission and a little extra
Currently, I have enough STARPRO for the 10% bonus, but I continue to play Music Promoter every other day (maybe I'll change that to a rarer pace), while on the days when I don't I withdraw the STARBITS from the regular missions along with those from RS Millionnaire to buy packs quicker.
I also started playing the Promote Fan Club missions again since I had the extra STARPRO.
Since I used part of my STARBITS to get STARPRO instead of buying packs I started to drift in the ranking a bit. I also don't always remember to launch a mission, which obviously hurts my ranking. But with plenty of things to do, I often only check the game in-between other tasks.
If what I've shared helps you in any way, I'm glad. If you have something you'd like to share about your strategy, what works or doesn't work for you, please do!
