As the title hints, this was a remarkable week for me on Hive. I don't remember passing so many milestones in a week in a long time, many of them without tracking them at all.
Let's talk about them first, before moving forward to the goals I did set up for me on Hive for this year.
Hivebuzz "buzzed" me not once, but twice this week with some round numbers that require a little bit of celebration.
Here they are:
I passed my 1000th post published on Hive this week. :)
This number could've been higher, but I haven't always posted every day. I believe 1000 posts is a pretty good number, and reflects my consistency but also my desire to not spam the blockchain when I have nothing to say.
The other one represents the amount of author and curation rewards I received over time.
It includes both HBD and HIVE Power rewards, but not other tokens we receive on Hive-Engine. 5000 HP is a very nice amount that piled up - almost a full dolphin-worth of HP. It also means that almost 2/3 of my Hive/Hive Power is earned in other ways or bought directly or using my other tokens.
Another goal I achieved with time to spare this week was the one on Splinterlands of which I talked yesterday. To be able to reach Champions League this early in the season hasn't happened to me in quite a while.
I have a nice round milestone reached on PolyCub too, but I'd rather not talk about amounts. I hope everyone is aware what a gem PolyCub is!
And finally, in the series of nice to enumerate milestones, I passed the 1000 mark in my HBD savings, which is another round number that called for a special mention. :)
So... that's it, unless we count that I made both the guidelines for my main goals for this week. Will see in a few moments how I did on the additional ones. I haven't checked yet.
At first glance, it looks I might have two or three other important milestones to mention next week. But we'll see if they become reality.
Now let's move on to my main goals for Hive in 2022, the ones I really focus on and track.
Let's start with the ones I included from the previous report:
- reach the 10000 comments milestone on HiveBuzz
- reach the 10000 replies milestone
I started the goal with 6559 and 6762 replies last week.
I should've made at least 81 comments and receive at least 76 replies this week to be on track.
Let's see how I stand. I'm curious, because I haven't checked this at all until now.
And... Ta-da!
6716-6559=157 comments
6920-6762=158 replies
I must say, while I didn't know the numbers, I felt I was going to be well above the milestones.
I didn't know this is going to end up being about double the averages I need, which is awesome!
I feel I would do an injustice if I wouldn't mention Listnerds here, because it is a major driver of engagement to one's Hive posts.
Ok, so numbers to start next week are: 6716 comments and 6920 replies.
And finally, my HIVE Power and HBD goals. Let's remind them:
- 25000 HIVE (Power)
- 5000 HBD
First, let's see the account growth chart:
Well, this chart doesn't tell the whole picture, because I've made a significant power up of over 221 HIVE, and that only shows on the orange account HP line at the start of the next day, server time. But you can see the power up on the chart as a bar (the biggest in 30 days).
So, this week - unlike the previous one - I made it above both guidelines and again my HBD progress is in line for the yearly goal. I also collected the interest for my HBD this week for the previous 30 days:
While this doesn't seem like a significant amount, it is 12% on a quite stable coin relative to USD, on the medium term already. There are many national currencies far less stable than HBD is right now.
In the end, let's include the spreadsheet as well:
