At least a few people, including @blocktrades and myself, had issues claiming our LARYNX miners through the user interface at spk.dlux.io (guide here) using Hive Keychain, at least for some of our accounts.
Problem: there seemed to be an infinite loop of opening Keychain popups when logging in, which prevented you to do practically anything else except closing the browser, or if you were lucky, the window. EDIT: This doesn't seem to be related to the method of logging in, I disabled Hive Keychain and the UI was still in an infinite loop when trying to log in to the "problem" account.
Those who ran into this issue know what I'm talking about. It looks like this:
If you have other accounts you want to claim the airdrop for using keychain, you can do that by clearing the browser's cache and app data. But it might work or not on other accounts. For me it worked on two accounts and it didn't on those that had dashes in the username. Not sure if that is a cause or not, because other people experienced the same issue and had only alphanumeric usernames.
But there is a solution to claim your tokens even in these cases where you can't use the interface. The only problem is that you can't use the interface to see the tokens claimed.
The solution is to use HiveSigner to sign your transaction instead of Hive Keychain. I know people prefer keychain for the ease of use, including myself, but when you have issues you can fallback to another solution that works.
@disregardfiat was the one who gave me the link below, and he also checked that the transaction went through after I signed it with HiveSigner.
After you click this link it will open in the browser this HiveSigner window:
If you have no accounts added to HiveSigner, it will say "You" in the posting_auths
field (like above) and you will be asked to log in with one of your Hive account in the following steps.
If you have at least one account added to HiveSigner, it will use the one you are currently logged in with. And the page will turn into:
Once you click approve, the transaction will be broadcasted and you reach the final informational page:
I hope this helps! I know there are at least a few people having this issue.
