Its been a while that I talked about my #COTI investment and in todays blog post we are going to be discussing about the same and also will also touch base about the insane APR 100% which one can take advantage right at the moment. My COTI earnings in past has helped me earn 5K+ #HIVE and all of it was powered UP and I used to call this my printing HIVE machine. Refer this blog post which I am refering to - Coti & Gcoti My printing machine for #HIVE - Part3 - 5K+ #HIVE Earned & Counting... . Fast-forward HIVE price spiked and I had to stop swapping COTI for HIVE coz. obviously I would have lost more COTI for less HIVE and because of that I preferred to staked all my #COTI earnings to the treasury. Ok now lets get to the interesting part of this post which is around insane APR [Annual Percentage Rate]; right now the max APR is above 93% check the following image that has been taken from coti.pay web application.
Based on the various risk levels that one stakes their #COTI the APR is determined. Just that you know that the deposits with a Multiplier greater than x1 carry a risk of deposit liquidation. In Addition, a Liquidation Risk withdrawal fee will be applicable if the initial deposit health factor becomes 1.04. In my case, I have gone for the multiplier x1 so not being greedy at all and at the same time avoided all those risks associated to the higher level multipliers. Better to earn less than loose it all and this strategy is now paying me even more. Just have a look at the APR that my stake is getting me at x1 multiplier which is above 65% not that bad at all. Do you agree with me here?
At the moment I have 103K+ #COTI and #GCOTI staked so this is getting me the highest level of APY boots and here is the breakdown how it looks like overall.
- APY in COTI 11.72%
- APY in gCOTI 7.08%
- APY boost in COTI 46.88% [and this is due to the same amount of #gocit staked]
Now what next? Well I plan to #hodl all the earnings here until the launch of COTI V2 Mainnet - which will be like COTI on EVM

My hope is that ones this actually happens the COTI token price is definitely going to surge we could see COTI trade above $0.30 cents or even more than that. But lets see how that pans out in near future. Until then its a #hodl for me and continue to accumulate as much #gcoti and #coti tokens. Right now as of writing this post COTI is trading around $0.07 cents up 3% and if one is looking to enter then this is the right time grab #coti at this stealer price. I am hoping to collect around 10K+ #coti in rewards and will keep all these tokens in liquid just to take advantage of price surge in near future. So its like put in 20% of the rewards back to the staking and remaining #hodl as liquid and then play the wait and watch game.
