Hey All,
We normally get this error - Provided chainId "1111" must match the active chainId "9011" while claiming staking rewards for any blockchain associated app. Though the error message is quite descriptive but then too providing with the correct ChainId there seems to be this error coming. SO what could be the cause of this error cropping up and how to solver/overcome this error in an easy way, I would be describing about it in this post.
Correct Details Are Added
As you can see from the snapshot taken from my metamask settings page for - "REBUS", I have the correct chainId added. But then too you might get this error while browsing through the app to claim your staking rewards or performing any other action on the REBUS App. The solution is simple Just sign-out from the App and login and you should be able to get rid of this Provided chainId "1111" error message.
When I get this error, I normally sign-out and login again back. The error is vanished. The same I did to claim my 33 $REBUS rewards today and was able to successfully claim the rewards.
As you can see as I logged IN again and am trying to claim the rewards the transaction now got successful and the same can be seen in the following image::
Else, I was getting the above - Provided chainId "1111" error. Its that simple to get rid of - Transaction Failed errors associated to ChainId. So next time when you encounter these "ChainId" transaction failed errors just signout from the App and relogin to get rid of these error.
